How to Make A NEON SIGN with EL Wire: DIY Anime LED Neon Sign Decor (Custom LED Sign for my sister)

This week I tried my hand at making a fake neon sign with some EL wire and glue. It was surprisingly easy but time consuming due to all the hand stitching. I wish I made one of these signs for myself because it turned out AWESOME! Also if you discount all the materials I had just lying around this sign used just $5 worth of wire lights which made it a really cheap craft and present!
MATERIALS:
- Printed picture you want to used
- Sharpies In the color of your wire amzn.to/3tfXhV6
- EL Wire amzn.to/3vsA18z
- Drill and drill bit amzn.to/3aSRnm4 (This is the drill I own)
- Board/plexiglass/canvas
- Superglue amzn.to/2XqwHLk
- tape
- 1 inch thick pieces of wood to mount on the back of the board

If u ever have to do this again or anyone doing one in the future. Run the EL wire over the paper picture then tear the paper away when done. Will be much faster and easier to ensure proper line placement

Hi I really love this i idea I think it turned out amazing and I really want to do it but I was wondering if their is any recommended width?
Honestly the bigger the better if you want a detailed piece. The wire itself can’t make any details smaller then about 2 cm. I recommend no smaller then an 8x10” frame. This Demon slayer one is 18 x 24” which i think was a great size for the project.
