I tried but the iPad screen doesn't share even after I initiated Zoom on each device separately. I can use Zoom on iPad and just use the whiteboard option. My students prefer I teach that way and I have been using Kami, but annotation takes way too long especially when teaching math.
Gail Derobbio I haven’t used it with chrome book myself but can you check the settings for zoom - you need to give your iPad permission to share... let me know if that doesn’t work I have one more idea!
Hi Gail, all you need to do is log into Teams on your iPad with the same account that you're logged in on the Chromebook. It will ask you if you want to join the same meeting, once you're joined on both devices you can share the iPad screen. hope that helps
I initiated a Zoom on my iPad and opened whiteboard. I then opened Zoom from Chromebook and it would not let me start or join meeting as it recognized me as the same person. I have to end one meeting to join/start another since I have the same ID.

How are you sharing screen from iPad when you are on a chromebook? Are devices connected?

Have you tried it the opposite way around - initiate the meeting from the chrome-book?
Is it actually recording the session while sharing? If so is there anyway to avoid it?
Hi 👋 you don’t need to record it, it’s your choice. You can just use the whiteboard functions without recording 🌺
@@LOVELEARNINGAPPSFOREDUCATORS thanks, but how do I avoid recording while sharing in teams? I don’t see any option to select
@@Pucknet77 which app are you using?
@@LOVELEARNINGAPPSFOREDUCATORS MS Teams
@@Pucknet77 check in the settings and see if it default records, it normally doesn’t record unless you choose to record. 🌸
