melt Zote or Fels Naptha in 1 gallon of boiling water fill a 5 gallon bucket with 4 gallons of hot tap water. pour in 2 cups Borax and 2 cups Washing Soda. Stir well. Add the melted soap and boiling water to the bucket. Be careful not to burn your self. Stir again well. Cover for 24 hours. Open cover and stir again to break up any gelled soap. It can stay in the 5 gallon bucket but I use saved containers with screw on lids(I use 1 gallon Vinegar bottles. Use a funnel and pour 3/4 of a gallon in to each saved container(need room to shake each time you use it)Cover and label bottles. For a regular washer you can use 1/2 cup to 1 full cup depending on how big and dirty your load is. For HE washers 2 Tablespoons to 1/4 cup. I use NO fabric softener in my washer or dryer. I use 1 cup of Vinegar in the rinse water instead. It softens, removes static, and deodorizes.. If you want to you can put it on a washcloth and put in the dryer but it works fine in the washer. I bought one of those Downey balls to use. It opens during the rinse all by it's self.
If you make your homemade soap a powder not liquid I found that for my he if I dry the soap bars in the oven or microwave(I have a designated toaster oven I use outside) they puff and then dry out so it can be crushed super fine. It then dissolves fine in my HE. Or just pre dissolve what you have in a bit of water then toss in.
This will ruin your HE in a few years. Just look up videos on here, it will show you what happens to your washers drum when you use zote and too much other things.

Do you add these straight in the barrel even if you have a soap dispenser washing machine?
Do you have a link to all these products? I don't even care if it's an affiliate with Amazon, I need these for my fiance's work laundry.
I miss my regular washing machine! Yours is probably HE but my HE uses like a cup of water and my homemade soap doesn’t have time to dissolve. Learned about other products here too! Love this!
melt Zote or Fels Naptha in 1 gallon of boiling water fill a 5 gallon bucket with 4 gallons of hot tap water. pour in 2 cups Borax and 2 cups Washing Soda.
Not the weird comment about being offended that her mom washed her dad's clothes. That doesn't sit right...parentification is not okay. Unless the OP is a cleaning core person that takes pride in cleaning everyone's laundry with the same passion, that comment hits wrong.
You should try biz it works so good as a pre soaker
Yeah scratch that when you have 3 kids welp make that 4 counting the BIG KID 😂

Can you also teach is how to deep clean wash bed sheets? I never feel like I get mine squeaky clean. Any tips?
I need all of this!! where the hell have I been 😭 thank youu
You don't need this. Never put soap in a modern washing machine!! Zote is for spot treating directly on stains or hand washing only.
This makes me feel like I’m doing laundry wrong because I just throw a tide pod in and walk away😂
Is pinalen for cleaning floor? Is it safe for sensitive skin
I bought zote and I crap you not was wondering how to use the bar and your post came up in my feed the same day. Thanks God! P.a- what’s washing soda?
I use a combo of a little concentrated detergent clean and clear *no more than $7 a bottle, washer balls and vinegar water and essential oil as fabric softener. Add baking soda if I've been sweating or outside in the yard. Then dry with wool balls with essential oil and sometimes rubber dryer balls for extra softnessand dry quicker.
The difference between the towel I wash and my family. Just wow. Both pretty much the same. The difference mine aren't heavily scented and theirs feel like a moisturizing feeling 🫠which I'm not sure how I feel about that... lol
Edit: I also spot treat with Zote
I love the pink zote soap!!!! I make my own laundry powder, and that is a must have lol
Your the absolute best I'm subscribing now now
The amount of hours I've spent shredding Zote. What is the spinning grater called?!!?!?? Also if you go camping. Was your basics with Zote it has citronella in it so it'll help repel bugs a bit
What did you wash them with before? Mud?
I love zote. I found it pre ground in flakes at Walmart one time and have been hooked ever since.
I have never seen any of those soaps/ cleaning products. I’m interested in knowing where you purchase them. Especially the Zote soap
Its only $1.60 at walmart. I just ordered 3 bars for home delivery
Wow You are the second person I have seen use Pinalen for dirty jeans.
Excellent 👍💯.
It does truly work.
THANKS for Sharing 👌
