I wish Thursday offered custom bag making the same as their boots. Thick rough out leather and secondary colors would be amazing!

My wife got me the same canvas bag as the one in the video for Christmas. I love it and have no complaints. I got nervous when I heard there was something you didn't like. Only to find out it was about the D-ring strap attachment. Luckily, that never happened on mine and I tool off the strap anyways and just carry like a regular briefcase.

Happy New Year! Nice review. I picked up the very same commuter bag around the same time. Love it! I haven't really noticed the D ring problem. I'm now considering the duffel in the same style. Would love to hear a review on that one too if you happen to have it.
Hey, Walt! Glad to hear you haven't had the D-ring thing happen to you. I have the duffel in the Anejo leather. Used it for the first time a few days ago for a 2-night getaway with the Mrs. It was great, to be honest! Have another overnight trip in beginning of April then I'll do a full review video on it. I did an unboxing, though, if you want to look that up. It was probably 2-3 months ago.
Great review Patrick and perfectly timed . I got this bag for Christmas to replace an aging cheaper wax canvas messenger bag I found on Amazon several years ago. Haven’t had a chance to put the bag through any paces yet, but I’ll watch out for the D ring issue to see if I have the same problem with mine.

Not the Commuter, but I have the Weekender. It feels like a $1000 bag, but for half the price. I've heard some folks have had issues with certain leather (Anejo), but Thursday will always swap something out if you aren't happy with it.
have you ever look into sangin instruments watch brand? they’re very cool, durable, USA made and military owned.
