It would be great to see the recovery of old SFX in action, which you mentioned. So if you get to do that and have some time, it would be nice to see what you can get out of these old files and listen to it before/after. Keep up the great content.
Hello Alex, what is the order in which you do the audio repair or mixing. Do you have a specific order when you work? Like denoising first, eQing after and so on? Sorry you already answered this question.

RX in general is a materpiece to be fair.
RX8 has essential, standard and advanced. Which one do you recommend for podcasters? Thank you.
Totally depends on budget and what issues you’re running into, but you can get a lot out of Standard. Elements is a great choice if you want some powerful basics, but I think you’ll end up wanting more than what it offers eventually. I personally use Advanced.

Maybe not related but... does beard affect Voice Over quality? 😅
I’ve noticed a significant improvement in my voiceovers since growing a beard and highly recommend everyone tries it themselves! 10/10, would beard again.
So bummed that Spectral Recovery is only offered in RX8 Advanced. Standard does everything I need it to, so paying several hundred more for Advanced for Spectral Recovery alone isn't worth it for my needs. They really need to offer these things as add-ons. I would happily pay a fair amount for just what I need.
I'm about to buy the RX8 Standard version and I acounter the same dilemma. It's sad that Spectral Recovery is on the more expensive. Do you still like your purchase?

@2:04 removing finger string noise, i really wish people wouldn't do that. it gives the performace so much more life. removing it makes it artifical and dead. i want my music played by humans, not robots.

A couple of months ago I picked up Nectar 3 and Insight 2 after watching one of your videos on it, and Nectar especially has been helpful with fixing audio for live streaming. I ended up creating a profile for each speaker and each microphone, and it's really easy to switch between profiles during a quiet moment. Sounds so much better. Going on iZotope's site, I'm seeing a couple of modules in RX8 that could be even more helpful in other projects. I will more than likely pick it up as well. Thanks for the video!
