The Ri245 is absolutely the best wake surfing boat currently available. I own one and I used to own and surf behind a Malibu. The thing that Mitch doesn’t specifically mention that blew me away- the Centurion surf wave going through chop is unbelievably smooth vs. the moguls behind all the competitors. Try one and you’ll be converted!!
PS to Mitch- why don’t you share / video some of your settings on the new Ri’s like you did on previous versions in your famous surfing 101 etc series?
Yeah! Id love to know the settings used in the video…out here in UAE i can clearly see the boat operators have no clue how to create a decent wave on the RI265 that they are running here.

does the ri265 make a bigger wave than the 24 foot boat or does size not matter.
The Ri265 and Ri245 are very similar in terms of wave size
I always hear Malibu has the best but haven’t confirmed that
Malibu’s are good, Centurions are phenomenal! Look at their pro team, they have the best riders in the world for a reason

If you surf a Centurion, you know what he’s talking about!
To me these boats should stay on lakes with nobody using it for anything other than water sports I was on the south Saskatchewan river once in a sprint kayak and about fourty people on paddle boards pool toys and canoes and kayaks and on a river not much more than 300 meters wide and split by sandbars a surf boat going within 15-20 feet of paddlers you can guess how it ended

Boo hoo. Don’t be hating just because it’s not your choice of sports. You just deal with it or have a cry and paddle on different rivers. Do you also complain if it rains and you get wet???
In Wisconsin they have banned Wave boats from small lakes. They are the wrong boat on the wrong lake.
