A guide to removing your Mito grill and installing a new honeycomb grill. Also examples of my own grill thats for sale on my website.
Taking the bumper off the car will allow better access and you wont have to break the old grill. My method means you don't have to remove the bumper but you will need to break the old grill.
Make sure to use glue (silicon for example) to fix the grill in place.

Do you have to cut the horizontal bars ? I’m thinking of getting a honey cone grill from eBay and hoping that it will be a easy unbolt and remove and then a easy bolt install.
Hi, you can see in the video that replacing an alfa grill is not a quick job. Removing the bumper isnt always necessary but it makes things easier if you take the time to remove it. I installed these grills on my 159 and Mito without removing the bumper. You have to drill new holes for my bolts. Some DIY skills required.

Hi, Ireland to UK is normally less than 1 week. Europe is around 2 weeks asuming no strikes or other issues.

I can’t see how it’s possible to reach all 4 screws without taking the front bumper off - you can’t bend it enough to reach the top two, so it’s impossible to reach the bottom two
I could with mine. I think the bumper clips in the front corners are broken on mine so maybe that gave it more movement? I used the same technique on my 159
How do I know if I bought a Type 1 or 2 or is this just different options around the installation?
Hi, I dont really have time to make type 1 anymore so type 2 is the only option. 2 is a V shape, type 1 was a complete round shape.

does the alfa romeo badge come with a thread/ nut on it or is that something you need to add? love your work by the way i do have a surround that i bought off you i just havent fitted it yet.
Hi, I have taken 2 original grills apart and both have a badge with a bolt hole at the rear. One was easy to remove but the older one required some cutting to pull out the badge. Thanks for the business!
