Hey Old video guy, some how this video was recommended to me, you have great setup, your video quality is great, I can see your funny side as well, keep going, you are doing great...love from New Zealand
At the time I couldn’t get it. It was on backorder. B&H was supposed to contact me when they had it in. I will definitely consider it in the future. It’d be nice if Elgato sent me one.😎
❤ Video excellent 🎉 Listen, I also have a Sony EV E1 with a 20 mm G lens. In the description your Teleprompter, it says not to go lower than 28 mm. and so: what can I do? The 14-inch model costs almost double, my budget not arrived it! Do you recommend it 12-inch or not with my lens 20 mm.?? Thank you so much (Please but Elgato not have this problem)?
@@quantumpath108 I think 28 mm will be just fine. To compensate you can move the whole camera forward or backward. Since that video, I got the Elgato prompter and have been very pleased with it. You might want to check it out. Thank you for taking the time to ask a question or continent
I'm glad it was helpful and thanks for the sub. The links to the teleprompters are down in the description if that helps. Also, Frfr? What does that mean. Thanks again
Great video! The Neewer is a fairly nice setup, but, for the bit extra I went with the Elgato prompter. It doesn't require I use my tablet or phone. Also I can use the monitor that comes with it as an extra screen. So far the software has worked out well for me. I use it to teach online classes. It also comes in very handy for zoom meetings. Combine the prompter with the Elgato Stream Deck + and it creates and awesomely dynamic environment!
My husband and I are thinking about investing in a teleprompter. We loved your video! super helpful and engaging.

I just watched your studio build. Excellant! Us older guys still have some moxie 👍
I wish you also tested it with the phone being used as the camera. And you got some cool spaceship lighting back there, my friend 😁
@@TaskSwitcherify sorry, I missed that opportunity to do that with the smart phone. But it does work. I guess I was going for the Star Trek look.🤪
Hey Phil, you may want to consider the Elgato Prompter as well

I’m jealous. That’s what I really wanted to go for but it wasn’t available when I needed it.
The newer software is really poor. I’m looking at PromptSmart
So far the software had worked fine for me, hopefully it will keep doing so, lol!
@@theoldvideoguy it's available right now im pretty sure. I just recently got one
They're back in stock 🙌
Hello Phil, thanks for the video. Do you think a 23mm prime lens would do the job on this?
@@muwatallis it should. I have a Tamron 16 to 28 on it.
@@muwatallis I’m actually getting ready to sell mine. I think I’m going for the Elgato prompter.
