Enjoy guys! Hope this quick video is helpful and to the point for you so you can do this as well! Links in the video description of where I bought my TSTAT and Anti freeze.
Good video. The only thing you forgot was to bleed it. The Hemis can get an air pocket in the other side of the T-stat, and not let it flow correctly..There's an inverted Allen screw right there that you remove, fill til it comes out, then replace. Just an FYI, I have seen multiple people have issues afterwards.
so far everything has been good! Its been almost a year now. I bled the system through the radiator cap which is what most people said to do. To let it heat up and it will burp itself through that cap and then once its about to bubble over you turn off engine and put cap on.
It will help yes but it won’t be optimal. It will help with flow but without a tune for it then it will be maybe 50% efficient. The fan and water pump won’t turn on till later at higher temps.

My 2011 5.7 durango reaches 224 before fan turns on .do you think I need I a new thermostat?
It’s possible but then again stock settings do have higher temps before engaging
I have a stock 2021 DDSRT. Will adding this thermostat help at all if I don't have a tune?

What’s the dimension of the thermostat with the rubber on
im not sure. Id have to take off the connectors to measure and Im not doing that at the moment. Its the same size as stock
