literally, cuff your jeans. it’s invisible if you’re not LGBTQ+
ThatGuyBen True, very true.
I once asked a girl I liked if she was gay and she cuffed her jeans.
What dose cuffing your jeans mean ?
Nate McDonagh it’s just a thing a lot of LGBT people do, you know one of the types of things that’s gay culture for literally no reason. It usually looks better tbh, but it’s mainly just something a lot of younger LGBT recognise
some people do it just for fashion though...
“I know, I’m very gay but-“ *me while talking with my friends*
I've had a few of those moments
Mostly around when I realised I'm gay

My family has colored bowls. There are pink, yellow, blue, green and orange. The first day of pride month, I put the bowls away so they are the pan flag. So far, nobody has changed it and nobody has noticed. I'm hoping to try to keep them that way until the end of June
Good luck! That's a cool idea
I've done that with plastic cups! Someone moved them tho-
@@aztrolivr yikes that sucks. My mom almost moved the bowls but I stopped her and gave her an orange one instead
How’d it go?
@@orans_ On the 26th of June, someone messed it up :( but I almost got all the way through June
i asked my mom to let me get a pride flag and she said:

🙃
bruh she really be taking in the closet to the next level
Damn
bruh. this is a joke. I don't doubt you. just this sounds like a joke with the delivery.

Some quotes from my mom “you should cuff your jeans” “that shirt would look good tucked in” she doesn’t know I’m bisexual (unless if she found my sketchbook I hope not)
My mom always made me do those things, not knowing they made my bi powers *even stronger*!!!
I feel like I'm the only one who doesn't tuck in their shirt
@Lady Stardust same, I like it loose
@Lady Stardust saame, I always have to be free ( I sleep naked because I just feel restricted otherwise lol ) But yeah, peace sings and cuffed jeans are a total staple for me as well. don't forget the finger guns !
@Lady Stardust oof same. I have a very good friend I came out to ( turns out were both bi) and we really enjoy each others company since we always understand what the other one is going through. I don't know if I should even tell my family, I mean it's not really their business what I'm into, you know? Problem is I'm struggling with my gender identity as well and it's just so overwhelming
Tips for using pride flag colors:
Gay: rainbows are just pretty
Bi: unicorn colors
Pan: primary colors look nice together
Trans: pastels are pretty
Ace: one of the best color combos imo they look so nice
Literally anything: the colors look nice together (bc yk it's true
You can also say it’s your favorite colors!
If your pan you can also say well I like the colors its kinda like a sunset
If your bi like me, an excuse is galaxy colors
Lmao not me being trans and hating the trans flag
I would do this but my parents know pride flags so they would know :(
When I realized that I was lesbian in a kinda not really accepting household, I wanted to sneakily show my pride. The first step was to find out what pride flags they recognized as just that - pride flags - and I quickly realized that the only ones they actually knew was the rainbow and trans flag. I started the gayification of my room by drawing a drawing HEAVILY inspired by the lesbian flag and putting it on my wall, but my parents didn't realize what the colors stand for. I went even further and changed my desktop background to the lesbian flag - and when my mom asked why I had changed my background, I just told her that I liked the color combination. She just thought it was like a color palette or something. Lastly, I took the final step and actually bought a 150x90 cm lesbian flag to put up on my wall, and my parents still don't realize anything. I told them that I just wanted a pop of color in my very plain room, and that I bought this tapestry to achieve that. Gayification complete.
That's amazing! proud that you can do that!!
Oh god! That is genius!! Im Indian, and in the beginning-ish of the year, we had a small Shivratri celebration in our locality. I planned on wearing a sari (for the first time in my life), and when shown the options, there was this blue one with purple accents. Paired it with all pink accessories and bam, I was a bisexual incognito! Only one person in the locality knew!😂
thats so cool! im lesbian too lol, still in the closet tho
@@mgartist8260 hello fellow closeted lesbian, and I hope you’re comfortable enough to show your pride someday :)))

Just a tip for the pan people:
If your parents see anything with the colors and get suspicious, just say they are the primary colors. It’s true tho lol

Thank you!

I’m bisexual and I’m currently dating my Girlfriend. We’re still closeted which is scary to know that our parents will find out. We’re in a distance relationship and every time my parents ask “any crushes on guys? Or dating any guys?” I always joke around about celebrity crushes which makes me feel uncomfortable cause I want to tell them but it’s scary.
I just feel like I need to say this out loud for everyone to know....if not everyone then some of you.
I’m gender fluid and bisexual...I’m still me of course...happy pride month everyone!
@@redd3797 yeah it’s scary to think about and I’ve tried making my Minecraft house feel mmm gayer like rainbow carpets rainbow room with the bisexual flag and gender fluid flag somewhere butttttttt I’m scared if my parents ever found out what that means because they are aware of the LGBTQ community and make rude jokes about them before
Don't pressure yourself in telling them, it's none of their business anyway!
It's funny, some neighbours were asking my parents if I have a girlfriend, they answered "yes! his piano is well loved!" even tho they're low key homophobic they still get me hahaha 💓💜💙

something that i did a while back: A couple months ago, i made a painting based off of the bisexual pride flag (at the time i thought i was bi but now im ack to questioning bc im not sure who i like) and made a painting with pink/magenta skies, light purple clouds in the mid. and blue water and it was, at the time, a nice lil way to remind myself that im a bisexual (made the les flag too, but its the pink one and i dont have enough orange to make the sunset one so i scrapped it 😅), plan to eventually make every flag 'w' was inspired by Lavendertowne
Ooh I did something similar!

HEY GUYS, WE GOT A MASTER LINGUIST UP IN HERE! 🏳️🌈
It’s also just way more inclusive. I always thought it was weird to call a community based on inclusivity and representation an anagram that only highlights 4-8 sexualities/identities in a community with many.
Wait but I love this and need this like rn

Pansexual: a sunrise over an ocean
Nonbinary: a golden glowing trophy on a stormy rain cloud.

I hung out with a friend for the first time a little while ago (we only talked in between classes and got along great). We went to an empty park and one of the first things she asked me was what my pronouns and preferred name was. Then she asked my sexuality. (She’s gay, I’m questioning aro&gay) I’d say one of the best things you can do is just ask someone right when you meet them. Do it privately and make sure they (and you) feel comfortable. Saying “if you don’t feel comfortable or don’t want to talk we can talk about something else” is great because it makes the person feel like they aren’t forced to tell. It makes both people feel great afterwards- especially if both or just one of you is in the closet.
_"I know, I'm very gay"_ is literally the best quote ever

This is beautiful. I was closeted for four years, and it was little things like this that kept me sane. I remember painting rocks with pride flag colors and writing the names of my girl crushes in code in my notebooks. Small expressions of pride are valuable beyond measure, and seeing a channel dedicate an entire video to it warms my heart. Thank you ❤

Ok, so like a year or two ago I was forced to come out. (Not going to tell my story it's complicated) And well I thought things would get better but they don't. My mom acts like I never came out, my dad says one of these days we'll talk about it again. And I have two brothers, (I'm the oldest) They were the first to know I was gay, they never really cared, at least until I had to come out to my parents that I was dated my brothers older sister friend (Who they both knew I was dating). When that happened my brother who is now 12, he always uses the word gay like it's disease and it really annoying. And he'll see gay things call my name show me and say, "It's the most disgusting thing I've ever seen." Or he'll call me gross (He still does it, and I've asked him to stop). He even said to me the person he's been wanting to die to die in the show he was watching died. I asked him who it was, and he said, "It's was this gay guy on the show." I asked him why he wanted the guy to die so much and he said. "Because he gay and that's gross. Gay people shouldn't live." I don't know why he says this, it makes me feel uncomfortable around him because he fight a lot and sometimes pushing and shoving happens I miss my old brother, the one who didn't care before I came out to my parents. The only person in my family who I feel accepts me is my youngest brother who is 10, he'll make gay jokes with me, and ever sometimes talk about with me, about my girlfriend. He even is slowly shipping gay things that I ship. Which makes me happy I have someone to go to.
But if you're reading this stay safe, hope you're day is amazing. And happy pride month. Also love this channel!❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
Edit: I little life update, I'm slowly talking to my dad more. Yay! He's now been more supportive. Which is amazing. Just two more to go. Thank you all fo your kind words. I want you to know I'm not looking for attention. I just posted this so people could relate, and know that's they're not alone in this scary world. Just know I love you all, and if life has you down stand tall. Because it's just a little while till something great happens. Stay safe my peps.🏳️🌈 ( and for those who don't know what peps mean it means people.

Before I realized I was bi, I would accidentally use the bi colors together a lot, when drawing flowers, or making a background for a scene. So I went onto the family computer(again, before I realized) and drew a sunset with a rainbow. Except the sunset was the bi flag. After I realized, though, on the first, I went to school and used markers to color a bi flag on my fingers, then washed my hands before my parents saw. I've also been wearing a lot of flannel with black tanktops since I was little.
Here's a cutesy little idea for those who like to draw: make OCs out of your pride flag colors! Make them represent your sexuality accurately and, in general, make them...you! I'm doing that right now, so you probably can too. It's a simple little thing, but it works! If anyone gets suspicious, just say they like the colors or outfit they're wearing.
I'm ace, and my favorite color is purple and most of my clothes are black, grey, and white so I can easily get away with having my outfit matching the flag without suspicion! :D
I recently tie died a shirt like the ace flag, thank god my school colors are purple and black 😂
toxic unicorn mine are green and white. How tf do I get away with nonbinary?
@@julsiegamermove4115 honestly most normal people don't know pride flags outside the traditional rainbow one so if you feel confident enough wearing your flag as a shirt go for it! Or if you are talking about tie dye specifically then do a swirl pattern with the colors of the non-binary flag, you will know what it means and that is all that matters!
Demi person here. My flag is the same colors and the same thing is with me. I love purple and black. My room is being painted purple and grey, in fact. My parents are oblivious.

I know this is supposed to be a helpful and lighthearted video, but my heart just broke watching this. There are so many people that don't have to hide who they are and can safely live their lives without much thought at all, but then you remember that there are so many more people who are still stuck in situations where being themselves isn't an option. For someone like me where it's just second nature to be who you are, I couldn't imagine having to live your life wearing some type of mask, especially if that meant staying out of harm's way. It's taking a long time, but to everyone who's in the closet right now I hope you are having a good pride month. We also did tie-dye a few weeks ago. So I used the colors yellow, pink and blue to wear my pride flag in secret. It's great for now until I'm ready to tell them ^^
And also thanks a million to my best friend, you are the most wonderful friend ever
I’m terrified for when I eventually have to come out, my parents just wouldn’t understand, but I get sick of them calling me a girl, same with my siblings, I almost start crying because I’m so uncomfortable, but I have been secretly celebrating pride the past few years, and the Internet is a great way to do so.
Me: * unconsciously makes 3 little beaded butterflys one pink one yellow and one blue * (when I didn't even know my sexuality)
This video: find something that has your colors that represents your flag
Me: * looks around for stuff the has pink, yellow, and blue *
Me: * finds the bead butterflys that I made *
Me: was this fate 'o'
I did the same thing with my cousin’s tent in mc, I knew she was pan but accidentally made the tent look like a pan flag
@Amelie Warneck yessir
I did the same thing too but whit the bi flag and since i remember i always put blue, purple and pink in my draws or everything and sometimes now i see my old draws and i think "oh wow it was destiny" 😂
@@Lunny0_0 wait… MY BI SISTER’S FAVORITE COLORS IN KINDERGARTEN PINK, PURPLE, AND BLUE, BEFORE SHE KNEW THEY EXISTED
uhh well i did this with the polyam flag.. it was a bracelet. uhh its been on for like a year now and im afraid this is what it is.. idk if im poly.. huh i should probs look into that.
i'm losing my shit over the lego pride parade lmao its such a genius concept
Same
For the lesbians, if somebody sees the lesbian flag colors just say, “Those are sunset colors.”and they won’t suspect a thing.
glad i don’t need this video anymore cus i came out to my mom yesterday lol
I'm a FTM Transgender still in the closet.
it's ok take ur time if ur parents don't accept u we do 😁
If your parents aren’t very knowledgeable about flags (many only recognize the most common ones like the rainbow bi and trans flags) its a lot easier to for stealth pride stuff. For example if your family isn’t familiar with the ace flag and you’re ace, you can incorporate the black white grey and purple into your room decor and outfits without arousing any suspicion.
I did a stealth pride painting and my parents literally watched me paint it and complemented the color choices without knowing what they meant 👍🏼
wait is the bi flag really that common ? thats sad for me lolol
at least i told everyone when i was little that my fav colours were pink purple blue i think thats a good enough excuse ?
@@lightning_cat0388 I think maybe the flag itself is recognizable but not the color. Like, if you wear a raimbow tie dye no one's first thought would be that you're gay. I think the same goes with bi
Same I made a whole lotus lake with the pan flag colors
Lucky for me my family doesn't know the bi flag, like I drew an elf inspired by it and went around showing it off to my family and my sis was just asked if it was an elf and had no clue. So yeah I'm still mostly closeted especially to my parents lol
I have a ace-colored flannel and that basically says everything about my sexuality
(lesbian/ace)
my mother still Han't reallized it's been 6 months 😂
Oh yes. Pride in your imagination. This is so wonderful.
Going to a pride parade is one thing but going to a pride parade knowing that there are many, many people who support us but only in spirit is a strengthening, heart-warming thought.
Even outside of pride month, I feel comfort in the idea that there are millions of people around the world who don't know me but still love me and accept me the way I am.
Even if there is no direct interaction between each other, the thought itself can be very encouraging sometimes. You are not alone.
4:58 There’s also secret pride backgrounds you can find on google, where artists make artwork with pride flags. As long as family or friends won’t recognize the colors, it’s a great trick to have a pride background with no one knowing (Mine is a pansexual sunset background)
If you see this comment in 2021, I would love to wish you a very happy pride month!!!! 💖💜💙🏳️🌈 I am a closeted bisexual. Whoever you are in this community, closeted or out, you are valid and loved. Let your pride flags fly!!!!!
Thank you!!! I'm also a closeted bisexual, but I'm also a closeted gender fluid but my family has showed support to the community in the past so I don't think they mind, the problem is my shyness 😅
@@DivconVal_ofc Aww well hey I support you!! And it's great that you have a supportive family. Always be thankful for them, because I.....unfortunately don't have that privilege, which is a big reason why I am still in the closet. 😕 But one of these days we will be out and we should both be proud of who we are!!! 😊❤🧡💛💚💙💜💖🏳️🌈
Thank You do much
I'm biromantic asexual and still closeted 'cause My parents are kinda homofobic and also My sister is bi but we are waiting until there are no risks for our future
(Like they kick US out of the house or sending US to school....You know things Tha can hapen....we are almost 15....so.....You know)

HAPPY PRIDE!
Edit: During Pride, I realized I'm acually Non-Binary, Pansexual, Panromantic, Graysexual, Cupiosexual, Polysexual, Polyromantic, and Polyamorous. If people ask though, I'm Non-Binary and Pansexual.

I´m still in the closet so I made a painting of marceline and princess bubblegum, my mom saw it and said it looked cute. And my friends bought me a washi tape in rainbow colors. Happy pride month!!
i came out to my father on text two nights ago with asking "Do you know what lgbtq+ is?" good news, he supports! now i gotta find out how i can tell him i'm ace and non binary-
Ayyy! You got this :)
“How to celebrate pride while your in the closet” why was my volume so
High and why did my dad have the be in the room next to me 🥲

Awwwwww i hope everything went ok if he heard 💕
why IS your volume high 😂
how did he react?
@@moonlit7273 my ears ain’t what they used to be 👨🏻🦳
I painted my nails to match the bisexual flag. I also painted a wooden heart cutout like the rainbow flag.
wait that’s a great idea i’m always wondering what colors to paint my nails anyway
@@july4376 GRADIËNT. And if you want to be not obvious at all.
HOLO.
I mean rainbows. Come on.
I did this!
i just came out as bi to my mom today, feelin good
This is still one of the best channels ever-
Positive, loving, helpful, amazing, welcoming- and the community (fans) are just as perfect!
It's a nice, warm, family and I love that.
i draw pride flags on the bottoms of my feet using markers, i always wear socks so no one knows and it makes me extremely happy knowing i drew them somewhere on my skin. it's such a small thing but it's crazy how good it makes you feel.
oh by the way if the markers you use bleed onto yours socks it also works to draw the flag on your ankle :)
I don't wear socks so ill do it on my hip
i love this idea and will be stealing it
thats a really good idea! (toripfptoripfp)
@@juliana8374 Thank you for sharing this idea! I'll try it!

HAHA, DRAG HER BESTIE
my mom, dad, and boyfriend knows I'm bisexual and accept it...my step dad doesn't know I'm bi I'm scared what he will say because he's christian and disagrees with lgbtq
Mine is opposite lmao
I made a little bracelet/ key chain thing with the nonbinary colors and it's great! I get to celebrate even on a little way and my family doesn't know about my identity :)
I just found this on my recommendation and I’m in love
Skittles have been my favorite candy every since I was little and I think I’m pan sexual. Coincidence? I think not. My family is not homophobic and they are very supportive, but I’m still figuring myself out so I haven’t mentioned anything.
SAME, i have loved skittles for a very long time, i hope you figure out what you are soon!
Are- are you me?
i’m the same (not the skittles part but the family part). i’ve been questioning for about 3 years (ok i get it i can’t ever decide on what i am) but i think i’ve finally figured out and am FINALLY staring to come out to friends and family. i’m actually planning on telling my mom this month but idk for sure
I only eat skittles they are my muse in life
Same, exactly same-
Me: has mental breakdown at 1:30 am watching this
Also me: calms down well watching this... omg but I really do feel better now tho
Wait this is literally a play by play of what happening rn, even the time lol
Now I’m a biromantic asexual, and this just popped up on my recommended. This is literally a life saver.
thanks so much for this video! i've been using your tips to celebrate for this year's pride and it really helped. this year is the first time i'm celebrating (i'm still in the closet though) because the previous years, i've been too scared to do so even in secret. being able to celebrate it now, even while in the closet, helps me feel that i can really be myself
Here’s another suggestion: binge lgbtq+ tik tok compilations
This is what I’ve been doing.
omg sameeeeeee
Same tho
Wait but sane

I do that too :D

Im really scared to tell my parents that I’m bi, and everyone else knows about it as well (not my older relatives)
Only come out if you feel comfortable and if you feel safe it's okay if you're not ready to. I'm bi and non of my relatives know but most people at my school know. so just know your're not alone. 💗💜💙
@@chicknmcnuggs5329 thanks a lot 😊
bruh same. everyone knows except for my family. and how they dont know. i dont even know
when i was in the closet i had my background of my phone as the trans flag. but i kept the lock screen normal. so only people who knew the password could see it, which was only me
There's also lots of designs that have pride colours but aren't actually obviously a flag, those work aswell
My dad doesnt let me have a password and when I used to have one he would force me to tell him it 😔😔😔
that’s such a good idea I’m doing that now

I’ve been eating fruit loops for breakfast every day this month and I even made a tiny bisexual flag out of and index card and hid it in my room.
as an ace, I'm still in the deck (the closet) to my family
I’m pan and something I do is I make things that have the pan colors like a bracelet with pink yellow and blue and wear it almost everywhere
