I’m a big audio guy, if you’re looking for some better, higher quality speakers, definitely get some studio monitors. Audio people will argue and argue and argue about how for every day listening you do not need studio monitors and shouldn’t get them, but I think they make all the difference.
I’ve seen about 20 other desk setups on YT, but this is definitely the most creative and comfortable. Good Job! I look forward to upgrade my desk in the next days! Learned a lot from this videos 😀
I am using the Yahama HS5's powered studio speakers on my desk paired with a Focusrite Scarlette. 100% recommend these speakers. They are very good for sound while video editing from what I've heard from many big youtubers.
The Sandisk G drive is nice but I highly recommend Synology NAS devices. If you've never used one or heard of them do some research because they have a lot of options.
Can you let me know what is the office chair you are using and how do you like it? Had you chance to compare it to anything else (comfort wise)? Thanks

Having a problem in setting it all up. laptop only has one mini HDMI port - my monitors only have DP & HDMI connectivity. do I need to get a docking station so that I can close the laptop and work off the external keyboard, mouse any suggestions would help thanks again
me personally, for sound, I use the Sanyun SW208 speakers. very affordable for their sound quality. I was very surprised at how clear and nice they were for only 70 dollars. Bass is fantastic and they have knobs on the side of one speaker for adjusting bass and treble. they can also be USB wired into you PC, Aux wired into your PC, or even Bluetooth. highly recommend.

I recently got the AudioEngine A2+ speakers and I have been super impressed by them, though I will say that lower sounds like bass aren't as well ranged but the mid to high sounds are amazing for everyday use. I usually don't even have them at super high volumes because of how crazy loud they can get
you should highly consider the Kanto YU2 speakers. They are probably the best sound quality out there and blow the audioengine A2 plusses out of the water. You can get them in wood, black, or white finishes as well.
Yes, but a lot of games are not optimized for Xbox + Ultrawide, so I won't put it in Ultrawide mode. I believe PC gamers have more options for better display with ultra wides

Fantastic setup! I love the secondary vertical monitor and plan on doing the same thing now myself. As for speakers, I went a little over the top and repurposed some Klipsch “The Sixes” powered bookshelf speakers. They are a little large compared to other setups I’ve seen, but I have a desk the same width as yours and they work out pretty well. They also sounds absolutely insane, which is why I struggle when thinking about going smaller. Keep up the awesome vids!
I love my M1 mac minis. I have two. I sold my 2019 8 core (I think) 16" macbook pro and my 2016 16" macbook pro and bought 2 m1 mac minis and the minis blow the intel macbook pros away, oh and I pocketed $3000 from the upgrade. The Mini was the first M1 machine that could drive 2 4K external displays, that made it a winner
I did quite a bit of listening to near field monitors Settled on Genelec self powered connected to an Apogee symphony desktop connects by thunderbolt and sounds and works amazing. Serious audio quality. I very highly recommend this setup.
Not 100% sure which ones you're asking about. The acoustic boards where the lights are next to are GIK Acoustic boards. My main wall is a board and batten wall. And then I have my metal pegboard to the right of my desk. Hopefully this answered your question
Love the setup -minus the chair. I bought one a few months ago and I have to say it’s not worth the price. Lots of little squeaky sounds that cannot be resolved with WD40. Better to spend a little more and get something that will last longer and be less annoying. I also use the Hs5’s and they are crisp and clear. No complaints here. Heard good things about some of the higher end Edifier units too.

For network I would gone with Ubiquiti equipment. It’s a investment to get into it but it robust stuff and their AP is really good.

I would suggest Klipsch R-41PM Powered Bookshelf Speakers paired with their subwoofer. Once I got these, I cannot use anything else, personally.
