Also, war is not so black and white, especially when there are forces invading the kingdom he was residing in, a lot of the enemies he slew were such individuals. Now, after the black swordsman arc, I would content that Guts is moreso a hero than an antihero.

The only thing about the 2016 anime that didn't leave a metric TON to be desired is the soundtrack, which is actually very solid. This song in particular is really good. Even if this series struggles to get good adaptations for whatever reason, I can at least be happy that it will always get amazing tracks.
@@ThatHollowGuy I don't know about that, Shiro Sagisu is good, but it really just depends on the tone and feeling of the ost, you wouldn't ask Shiro Sagisu to do certain types of osts, since he specializes in action and epic ost, Yuki Kajiura specializes in sad or feels ost, then there's Hiroyuki Shawano who can do everything amazing, then there's Yugo Kanno that specializes in mystery or instrumental heavy composing, what Shiro Sagisu did with Evangelion and Magi was amazing, Enfin Apparu personally is one of the best osts, and the Berserk 2016 ost is amazing too, but Yuuki Hayashi, Hiroyuki Sawano, Taku Iwasaki, Takanashi Yasuharu, along others, are just more well known and popular, imo they're better.
