- I needed some more space in my garage so I picked up this Yukon 48 inch workbench to see if it would help me out and I’m actually really surprised with the way it came out!

I really enjoyed this video, to the length of it, the way you laid it out, to the edits. Thank you for making this. 🤝🏽 im definitely gunna get this now
Nice review. HF currently has a sale for this bench this weekend for $99. I think I'll be picking it up.
That is also how I ended up here. $99 l;ooks like a good deal
@@woodwaker1 I’m picking up mine tomorrow.
@@DarksouIjah They are out of stock at my local store, so will be waiting
@@woodwaker1 Bummer. I literally picked mine up an hour ago. I have three HF near me so I went to the second closest one bc my main one said limited quantity. Good luck!
Turned out great!
Thank you thank you
Nice I have one like that in my sewing room
I picked one of these up from there on a half off open box day for $35 works great for my space
That was a sweet deal!
I used lock washers on all the bolts and added a cross brace (2x4) under the bottom shelf. it is solid as a rock. Time will tell if it stays, but it should. I plan on adding an articulated magnifier/light and rollers to the legs when I figure out a way to finagle them on. It's just for working on electronics so it won't have much weight on it. Also tossed the electrical outlet and replaced it with a six outlet with a breaker on it. I won't be running anything heavy duty other than my o-scope, power supply, soldering station and a Dremel or two, but I didn't get a warm and fuzzy feeling about the outlet that came with it and had some good ones laying around anyway.
Yeah those are definitely good changes you made, yours will last a long time!
They upgraded the hardware with serrated flange nuts, they work better biting in to the metal on the bench, those lock washers are cheap and will back off over time. Use nylon lock nuts and or locktite in place of the lock washer. On the old are units before they were rebranded Yukon, yes, definitely use the lock washers & regular flat washer.
Good job chaz
Thank you!

Ayeee thank you!!!
The sharp corners and the screw heads fray my shorts and other clothing when they get caught and they always seem to get caught! So be careful of that.
Thanks for the tip I definitely will now!
Would you be able to drill and screw a vise onto the board?
Yeah you could if you wanted
@@chazwould is it a wood top?
@@k3vinyAng it’s like that artificial wood stuff
Screw down a plywood top to it. Stiffen up the setup.
Ok thanks for the advice!
