@@mr.beaverchair3622 Finding 4 other guys to stick it out with long enough to release 2 amazing full lengths before the inevitable break up is extremely hard.
yo! i live close to amarillo, tx. i have always wondered if they played amarillo ever since i read about their texas-wide tour. this is the answer i needed. thank you❤
I don't know where this show was at. I want to say Orlando, FL at the Sapphire. I wasn't at this show. I got this in a trade, but I did get to see them in 98 at the Hardback Cafe.
In San Diego, I first saw them in 95 with good riddance (they headlined), afi and by the grace of god, and a local ska band opening. Such an energetic show. The show was $6. Still one of the best shows I've been to.
When did you see them live? Their studio work is so ridiculously good.. but I would buy a hundred copies of Relationship of Command on vinyl and burn them individually just to get into any of the shows before they first split.
Damn. You are pretty lucky man, I was only 8 years old then haha. What show was it? Surprised you weren't into as you seem to like the music. I'd do anything to have see them in 2000 after they released Relationship.
you're nuts, man. their records are really good, but their live show is what made them legends. I saw them on the El Gran Orgo, I/C/O, Vaya and Relationship tours...6 times total from 97 to 2000 and each time blew me away.
Man, it must be nice to be able to find 4 other guys who are musically on the exact same page you are on. Thats seemingly like 99% of the battle.
They were infamously NOT on the same page.

They played the punk house in Amarillo, TX on this tour, like 97? On eof the best shows I've ever seen, still!

Vaya era
Is the first time i saw them performing Hourglass
Maybe Jim wasn't as confident in his singing until Sparta so they never really played it. Shame too, one of my favorite tracks off Casino.
that is pure punk rock. distilled.

Argh! I was so bummed to be out of town when they played Gainesville. Awesome that you caught that.

I would have been at this show if it was at Sapphire Supper Club! Was an absolute amazing show.
Nice.
Great time for music
"Because I like Sweet Tarts."
Was this from Brownies on Ave A? Pretty sure this was my footage! :)
thank you for your documentation
Love ATDI but damn it was tough to watch live. They were performers but their best work was done in the studio.
At the drive is not the same without hearing them live their albums are actually trying to capture their live sound

saw them in 99.

Fantastic band, legendary even.
That being said.
They suck ass live….
