I beg to different the idea of PARALLEL explanation I must say the lines are parallel even in curves Straight railway tracks may be considered as segments of PARALLEL lines, railway tracks with curves are PARALLEL curves. According to the common explanation two straight lines in a plane are said to be parallel (or parallel to each other) if they do not meet (or intersect), i.e., do not have a point in common.. Also talking about changes , the present railway system is the product of all changes to have happened in various departments in railway working from time to time

LHB are CBC(Centre Buffer Couple) rakes like freight wagons so the impact is more whereas ICF coaches has screw couple mostly and few CBC.
