integrity of gearing loop to blizzard is "spend 4-5 days a week playing most of the day or you'll be behind", and that's coming from me who is above 610 ilvl and have played a lot

@@groovydespairgod5190let's go it's easy 😒. For sure yeah yeah and a +10 is a walk in the park and 3000 rio you do it in 48h no ?. Even with delves if you are not lucky in the vault you can still wait for a upgrade for weeks
So 99% of these changes are passive in the background that only changes the way your trying to exploit the game. This changes absolutely nothing to a casual player that doesn’t track all of this shit.

The vault is the best part about gearing as a "solo player" and with all the crap gear you usually in those delves, without the good vault there again would't be a reason to even do delves at all. Also with the lack of bagdes you get for upgrades in delves, you are basicly stuck at 606 maybe 610 without getting into raiding or m+. The 616 from the vault is the only way to get at least a little push once per week.
So you enjoy weekly gambling rng and ur not even gonna use the gear and you want every1 else who is fair and competetive on your crap slot machine system?

Blizzard had a perfectly fine system back with Valor, idk what happened but they can’t make good systems to save their lives these days. The art team is the single greatest reason to keep playing wow.

Im not going to do delves anymore this season. I have all my gear on hero track already so there really is no point anymore. It does suck that Zekvir is now essentially useless though as you now really don't get anything worthwhile from him apart from some small valor and two runed crests, which i don't need anymore either. Guess it was bound to happen that we would eventually outgrow the delves content, i just thought it would take longer to get there
You couldn’t buff Templar enough to get me to play it over Herald, it’s so dang smooth and satisfying.
Crazy that still no one is talking about the Guild Bank drama and how many items are just gone and never being replaced
They really screwed up gear progression this time around. You zoom to 619 super fast and then hit a brick wall. I expect a huge drop off in subs as people are no longer able to progress.
I’m 616. Ret Pally, can’t even get into 9s. 40 points from 2k. Only class that has even given me some competition is a Rogue and a mage. All my crafted gear can’t even upgrade. Because of no crests.

Rogue buffs are not fixing the underlying issues. Someone needs to actually focus on the problems with rogues and fix them. Expert rogues are going to absolutely smash DPS meters like they already are doing.
The problem I feel was that there were too many active abilities from the talent trees alone.. at least assa. They already pruned some I think but not sure if it was enough..
Assassin feels the best it has in years. No bloat in skills, maintenance is comfortable, big reward for playing smart and managing energy and making the most of burst windows. Truly hope they don't touch assassin going forward... Not having to press Slice n Dice is just a juicy cherry on top (for all specs)
@@Brandle34 AGREED! main Assassin for 10years and the past few years its been at its worst. since dragonfligh, wonderful changes that made me enjoy it again. Still needs some TLC tho.
Have you looked at the PTR changes at all? They are doing tons of changes for many classes in the big patch and not a hot fix.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong but for me and my understanding with delves is that it is supposed to be a potential solo progression for gearing(with keys it 100 percent is). But outside of using keys it does not make sense to run a tier 8 versus just queuing a random heroic based on the item level that drops when not using coffer keys. Not asking for more keys but tier 8 base should at least be on par with random heriocs i think.
So i get the zek change but tier 8 being more difficult than a random heroic but capping at what 554ilvl doesnt even give you gear to run random heriocs which again are arguably easier than delves so forcing tier 8 outside of keys for a vault doesnt feel great either?
Side note delete underwater bubble delves
you can drop map farming those and get hero tracked gear at the end

The seasons are so short now it makes sense for better gear to come faster. No one is addressing this fact.
them nerfing the timewalking makes absolutely 0 sense considering the price on some of these vendors + the oncoming event venodors, do they think only people that have completed everything and only hoard the currency play? what about new players? its a awful experience getting scraps regardless of access to farmability of that currency. some people dont play 12hrs a day... their logic makes 0 sense.
The Timewalking Badges one is stupid. The gear is lower than heroic dungeon gear so it’s pointless and the rest is cosmetic. If people are gonna put in the work let them get the 500 per character. It damages nothing.
But then you'd not spend that much money on subs ;)

Please, please, please, Blizz, buff Frost DK's Shattering Blade build and nerf BoS. It is so fucking tiring that it looks like there is balance between the playstyles, and then it always ends with BoS on top, as usual... -_-
Probably won't happen. Whoever designs Frost DK is obsessed with BoS and seemingly won't accept anything aside their beloved BoS build

@@markiemark2498 No, it is not when it is the ONLY play-style that is viable for competitive damage, and that is why people hate it. It is either play BoS or suffer and be a burden on your raid group. That is why there is so much animosity with BoS because it is forced on FDKs.
All of preservations healing was the thing that was nerfed 50%. (30-40% of their healing was this in mythic parses on warcraftlogs at a glance)
I just wish they would add a Brahn tanking option so my squishy priest and mage could do similar levels to the ones my Paladin and Warlock do with relative ease.

People cried that they couldn't beat him underleveled by slamming their faces into the keyboard. Delves are a fantastic feature that is going to be absolutely ruined by people demanding they be a free loot dispenser.

I was hoping for a super hard super rewarding boss at the end and now he's neither. Why is my game getting sacrificed at the alter of easy mode players/loot addicts? I'm solo and old, not a wimp. Casual doesn't mean I want a cakewalk loot machine
Remix was epic. Can’t wait for it again. Only thing I’ve actually put time into at endgame because it was fun
I used to enjoy delves. I play mostly solo and it provides a good upgrade curve. I haven't played them to the ground but now when I zone into an 8 it's so tiring and painful. Some mobs take so long to kill it often leads to me just leaving and spending my time doing something else I enjoy.
Ah yeah. Honeymoon phase is over, back to "This is why we can't have nice things"
Please let warriors move at reduced speed with demolish. The amount of times something casually moves out of the way is annoying. And let shamans use 2h weapons for enhancement

I killed ? Zekvir 10 hours ago, knowing it wouldnt count toward great vault. I wasnt expecting no chests, no crests, and only Resonance Crystals. I even had a Delvers Bounty active. They really made it only a collection and achievement run now...
It doesn't even give valorstones anymore..? That's just stupid imo..
man it always kills me when there's class changes in the patch notes on wednesday and i have to wait till tuesday to actually see them lol
I've not got the patience for that hard mode stuff as it's more luck mode and the universe hates me. Maybe if I can get hold of enough benzos.

easy zekvir it was considered an exploit, blizzard account banned all members of a guild on the usa servers for farming exploits

does anyone else have the issue with rogue where nomatter what you do you get unstealthed? Even just sitting still and not fighting anything it unstealths me. I've tried everything from vanish to nelf shadowmeld.
I cannot understand in any way shape or form why BM keeps getting nerfed! We aren't overtuned or even preformimg well! I have people who are 20-30 ilvls below me doing insanely more DPS in aoe and single target! I just don't freaking get it!? 😵💫
Zek'vir was actually a SOLO delve, unlike tier 8 that requires you a tank if you dont want to sweat pulling one mob at a time

given time walking mounts cost 5k a pop and reaching that took multiple time walking events being able to get 10k badges by doing time walking on 20 characters wasnt that big of a problem and ddint really need a chnage, but them not just removing the ability to stack them up just making it more a neat side effect of alts not a focus of having 20 of them I think the nerf is fine and in line with balancing and not nerfing
I agree. I saw this would be a problem when they changed the currency to Warbound on the beta and took advantage of it for WoD timewalking before 11.0, then for Legion and TBC TW and gathered around 25,000 badges across the three events knowing it would be nerfed eventually. The change is fine, but what's not fine is that they implement it three months too late after people like me took advantage, whereas other players that didn't realise that it was a feature are going to have to do twice as much work as I did.

Maybe this says more about the state of current content that you'd rather do 16 year old dungeons on 20 characters? Or it says something about you that you have 20 characters and play all of them.
The buff to templar paladin is not that big, i did some testing on the dummy's and it has more burst but it levels out and has the same dps as herald, its a lot better in pvp though, that shit hits hard now.
The "buffs" to voidweaver are shit. They need to update the priest class.

I was going to buy that year sub bundle with those mounts but I think Ill cancel my sub. I can see they don't really mean that they respect peoples time.

cool! I dont! I get that they changed it but not how! they go from one extrem to the other... they could have implemented a daily reset as with m0, so at least ppl cant spam the dungeon but have to go there each day + would need at least one extra normal delve. they could have given it a stacking buff which resets every week so it gains like double HP each time you kill it. my offspec ele could kill it in less than 2,5min, so the second kill would then be about 5min, the third roughly 10min and the fourth one not worth it as the T8 delve is shorter than 20min.
now they just removed it and apart from killing it once, there is no use to ever go there again. n1 blizz! as usual

Nerfing the BM hunter is ….. “it’s dead already, leave it alone”. We are not accepted in any M+ content and we cannot even form a group with our own keys in M+ PUGs. The only thing we had was ST, so we were accepted in the raid. With that patch that is no more.
As one other comment was saying “at that point, you can directly delete the spec from the game”.
With the recent patch BM hunter not only skyrocketed in Mythic+ according to Murlok, they're 6th in DPS for the current Raid Tier on Warcraft Logs. I mean yeah, the class could definitely use changes since even Demo Lock is beating them. But it would require more Talent & Kit changes. Otherwise they would just nuke and be top DPS elsewhere.

So…is it just me? My main is a 606 arcane mage. I can easily clear any delve on tier 8 or 9 but still have yet to beat zekvir.
Nah, I'm guessing you are talking about the ?? difficulty. Some classes are literally fucked. I think easiest classes for ?? rn are Retri, DK (Frost) and I think that's it. Maybe warrior too but I think doing it on a mage will be pretty hard, I guess you have to blink and kite and do some ridicolous shit to eventually kill him and get that disappointing reward.
Keep in mind recommended item level for ?? is 612, but normally those mean you can for sure do it on that item level. Tier 8 delves are recommended 603 or some shit and one is able to do those at 580 or something.

Meh played wow for the 1st time this expansion, im at 614 gear, beat heroic raid, and +7 m+, all the shit they have been doing to slow down gear has made me quit, especially now that i saw how m+ was last season

No one asked for opinions or 'spin' - after all no one logs in to the game and thinks, "ah yes, thank goodness Kaivax exists for my experience in this game".. Like, ever?. Also, it's meaningless. Lightsmith Prot here. I'm happy for these changes, really. While I'm considerable skillful at keeping myself up, I don't do much damage - single Delves were safe yet lenghty, and since I do my group content on a great community (Dungeon Dojo), I don't get many kicks from simply having the wrong spec to notice my spec was actually underperforming. And given these buffs affect DPS players as well, I expect some smart individuals to take advantage of this to boost their logs if they're substantial enough.

Delves are nowhere near difficult enough to warrant granting anything other Champion gear (which is guaranteed every Bountiful Key run mind you) with Hero in the Vault.
