- This morning, I visited one of my favourite places on earth, the Raven Forest at Curracloe Beach. Curracloe beach was the site used for the filming of the Saving Private Ryan opening scene depicting the Normandy landings, in this case on Omaha Beach. This all happened during World War 2 (WW2)
I take a look at one of my favourite watches, the Seiko 6309 Turtle. Also known as the 3rd Diver and discuss some of the features to look for when trying to ascertain of a watch you are looking at is in original condition.
I also discuss a brilliant watch maker in Ireland by the name of Mark Wilkes @markwilkes.ie is his Instagram handle

Unreal Ben, brilliant review and so natural! Great to see you doing videos again and this one was exceptional.. 👍
Hey Kieran. Thank you so much for your ongoing support. It’s great to get this positive feedback. So encouraging. I really appreciate it
Great video. Thank-you. Where did you get that strap please?
Loved this video Ben. I forgot to leave a comment when you first released it so have come back to do so.
Amazing to see Curracloe and the beautiful Irish countryside.
Your enthusiasm really shines through and it is so good to see you putting out great Watch videos again.
A nice bit of Seiko history and buying advice for people wanting to acquire a piece like this.
Keep up the great work! ✊
Thank a million T. As always, you’re support means everything to me
Outstanding review Ben, fantastic production and editing too! Loved the friendly and informative presentation.. Looking forward to the next one 🔥
Thank you so much, I really appreciate your feedback. Looking forward to making more vids 👍
Great video Ben- Curracloe looking well!
Thank you so much Helen. I really appreciate it. Thanks for watching.
Great video. Must show you my dad's one. He has a quartz version very similar to yours. Apparently back in the day (80s) Seiko only put quartz movements into their very best watches. I picked up an SKX007 recently and I fully get where you are coming from with Vintage Seiko. They are definitely the D's B's👍
Thanks a million Tim. Really love this watch
thanks for the video Ben 👍could you tell me the instagram page of the guy in Australia that you purchased this piece from?
😃 The Aliens and Ed Harris are paddling on the beach.
Ha, brilliant
I'm going to pick up a few of those straps, great combination.
Thank you. This is a Zulu diver one from Watch Gecko. Discontinued now. But there are many options like this that dont cost big money
What happened to ya mate
I bought one with box on my local flea market for 130$
