It is the very mechanics of skiing. If you go straight down on these steep hills you will gain too much speed. Turns slow this speed and also feel great when in powder!

ChristenKult lol naah man not really. Can't go skiing when you got knee problems from skiing. Fun fact: most accidents that involve knee damage happen while skiing slowly (mine too). I had some pretty bad crashes and nothing happened, fell while going like 30 kp/h and ripped a ligament.
