Oh wow, and Korg just released the 2600 VST as well. Will be interesting to compare them. The Korg version sounds awesome, but this also looks really good.
i remember using this plug-in starting around 2010, when i would've been 15. it blew me away with the complexity, richness and "realness" of its sound, so much so that i still occasionally run the original version through a 32-bit adapter on an older Intel Mac. it is, absolutely, my favourite plug-in bar none and i can't get enough of it's sound, and i can't believe i might be able to run it again, natively, without crashes... holy moly. wow.
goddamn it i can't believe it. i still have sketches made over 2010-2022 where there is some instance of TimewARP doing the coolest sound in the track and to open that i have to grab my old laptop (i'm not even sure the project files survived my transition from Windows to Mac in 2018), and it always just barely worked. i am so excited
Sound SO good! You KNOW it's LEGET if SCARR is using it!! Mister Zebra. I can buy ALL FOUR COLORS in Behringer ($2400.00) or snag the WARP V2 and spend FIFTY BUCKS. 🍎 Forbidden fruit!
@@GabeChurray have you compared this to the Korg version? I noticed Skippy (plugin guru) and a friend have just released a 2600 soundset-works on the Korg Only

Whoa, I'll have to take a look. I'd love to try out the Korg 2600m

And let the folks know: The GUI ScALER button is TINY and fairly well HIDDEN (upper LEFT)
Yeah. I meant to mention that. Thank you!
