Congrats on the new car! it's lovely! me and my husband have decided to get our vehicles paid off and that's how we are able to get our house paid for as well so we are currently debt-free after we started doing it the Dave Ramsey way it's absolutely life-changing. Living life debt free is absolutely possible.
My fiance and I just bought our first car a month or so ago, brand spanking new too! Living near downtown Montreal, we have the metro and buses to get to work and school and our grocery is 2 blocks away so we decided to hold off on making the purchase for a while but we finally did and it is so very exciting. All of the fancy sensors and techy stuff is amazing! Enjoy your new ride!!!

Trust me that's a very smart way to do it, get that car paid off and you get yourself a pay raise. me and my hubby have 3 vehicles all paid for when I drive I see all these flashy cars around me all i see are payments coming out of their ears lol
Yesss me to!! We paid my husbands truck off beginning of this year, because his had the Lowest balance. We have been using the extra money we saved each month from not having his truck payment to pay extra on my car.. my car is a 2013 Gold Toyota Corolla nothing Fancy, but dependable and cheap on gas.. lol
@@ashleylogan8002 lol we have 3 toyota's Tacoma, Scion and Camry hybrid all paid for:) yes couldn't agree more, Toyota is very dependable. Are you doing Dave Ramsey's 7 baby steps? it sounds to me like you are if not pls. look into it...and you are welcome:) it's life changing. Me and my hubs are on baby step #7 completely debt-free and a very comfortable net worth all because we STOP borrowing money. There's more to it than meets the eye of course. Keep going, you all can do it, in the end it is so so worth it.
Oh! I forgot to say, I just got a new car too and it has that same feature of shutting off at stop lights etc...I think it’s supposed to save fuel, but I’m not a fan! It feels weird. There should be a button that you can shut it off. I bet your owners manual has something about it.
