It’s worth it. Your daughter will have good self esteem and learn how to take care of her hair. Once you take care of your hair, you take care of other things in your life.

I remember my mother telling me that when she was a young girl that her mother would wrap her hair very similar to what you have done in this video. When my mother married at 19, her hair was touching her waist line. I miss her every day. My mother live to be 91 years old and still looked like model. I am 68 and my hair is long, thick, coily curly, silver and gray but a little dry so I will be using your method of moisturizing and conditioning during my next shampoo. God bless, thank you and for sharing.
    Your daughter is beautiful❤😊

Yes our parents didn't want to
Manage our hair so they permed it to make it easier on themselves...if they actually took the time and patience to do all that is shown in this video, our hair would be healthy, long, and striving. But now as adults, we are learning to do better ourselves and for our children

I asked my daddy for a perm cus I wanted straight hair. It was my father who took care of my hair before it was relaxed but my hair grew this long. After relaxing for several years and seeing all the damage I decided to do my big chop 7 years ago and now I have locs all the way down my back.

Beautiful hair. More people need to see this video to learn how to take better care of their natural hair. Great to see parent teaching they’re kids how to properly care for their own hair; instilling confidence- that they can wear they’re natural hair and look gorgeous. Don’t have to cover up their God given luxurious hair. I tip my hat to you. **Respect**

She needs a couple inches cut to even out her hair across the bottom. If the hair is tapering at the ends like hers is it's because the other hairs around it have broken off. Breakage and split ends are inevitable so it's important we keep the ends nice and neat to prevent it and it will continue to grow nicely and detangling will also be so much faster and easier.
