Some parents are so toxic it's pointless to repair. Drug abuse, alcoholism, abusive ect.... Not '' Controlling''. I feel as if though this would be helpful for half normal parents.
How can you suggest that without the disclaimer of abusive, narcissistic, toxic family members? Please be conscious that many people these days have this unhealed baggage you speak of. This has to be healed often without their parents in their lives for the sake of the actual relationship. I believe this is a great way to make your couples break up fast!

I have a good relationship with my parents. I can talk to them about anything I talked to the about me trying to win my wife back and they were for it cause they want to see me happy.
I know that you're a relationship expert for couples, but it would be cool if you had more advice for parents and their children. I imagine that a lot of the same communication and relating techniques would be the close or the same.
