This was my birthday present when I was 6 years old. I still have this console inside a box in my closet right now. My favorite game is Sandy's Surf Adventure since it reminded me of Space Impact.
Oh really? My birthday present was Diddy Kong Racing remake on DS when I was 6 years old. Not mentioned that the game was released on my 6th birthday. Coincidence, I think NOT! Lol.
Did you know? MAME has recently gained official support for many Jakks Pacific TV Games! This isn't one of them, but Fry Cook Games and a _bunch_ of Disney stuff are, as well as some Marvel and DC.
My grandmother bought me this when I was 8. I absolutely loved playing the games! I thought there was a game on it where you could throw snowballs though.
Omg I got one of these for Christmas back when I was either 6 or 7. I still have it in my closet and Soon I hope to find the time to play some of the minigames on it.
This brings back many memories I remember getting this for Christmas and saying it’s one of the best gifts I ever owned. I had a set of Duracell batteries at all times and enjoyed this for many years. Even after recovering from surgery I’d still play it. This was definitely a classic nostalgia game system for me
Ah! What a way to remember the past in a Saturday Morning! I remember fondly as a child having this around 2006. I remember having a hard time on Patrick’s maze level. Thx Vail!
I still have this exact one. The video and audio cables aren’t the best anymore, making it more difficult to play. My favorite was always the maze. It was fun to navigate.
I remember getting this plug in play years ago, but I don’t think I have it anymore probably because it was sold in a garage sale. This video does bring back a lot of memories especially the box.
My sister, niece and I used to play this ALL the time on the TV in our old van whenever we were in for a long trip. I think we played the Maze game the most.
I remember play with that controller since I was a kid, heck I even still have it today like seriously now I’m starting to feel old. The ones I still briefly remember playing is bubble bounce, hooks, & stoping Plankton.
The Maze Game was the only game on the console I cared about when I was young. There was always something somewhat mysterious about that underwater hedge maze that kept me coming back for more...
I always see this plug n’ play, but I remember owning one with a jellyfish as the controller and buttons. One of the games was a snowball game where it was two player (I think), and you would play as Spongebob while the opponent was Patrick. You would throw snowballs at each other to get one cold. When one of them gets cold, the other will win. That Spongebob ball game thing was also a part of it too. I can’t be the only one who remembers this plug n’ play.
My childhood.... And I still have it lmao My favorite was the Patrick mini game, it was just really cool wandering around a maze and finding random Spongebob characters lol
When I was little we had a Pac Man Plug-n-Play, that also had a bunch of other vintage arcade games like Galaga, Rally X, Mappy, Dig Dug, Pole Position, etc. I think we still have it somewhere.
I remember having the spongebob one, but I don't remember the actual games, just the plug and play console lol. I had a Disney Princess one as well, and I vaguely remember a game where you play as the mice from Cinderella, looking for stuff to make a dress? Not sure.
I had this!! And I think there was one for Blues Clues, another for Dora, which I both had. Also I still have a Namco Plug and Play with like 12 games from 2008 that I go back to every now and then. The joystick, buttons and the old AV quality give it that authentic arcade feeling.
YO I PLAYED THE HELL OUT OF THIS THING AS A KID. Patrick and the Maze was my favorite, but I could never figure out how to beat it 😂 I also had a Fry Cook Games one, one with Spongebob’s Pineapple as the Joystick, and one with 5 different Nicktoons including 2 Spongebob games
I actually had the spongebob plug and play video game from my old grandma who's about 98 right now. I played it a lot as a kid with my young sister and absolutely loved it.
I remember when we we're in the basement with my brother and when he find this in the box of his old toys Our Mom putted in the basment. He was smiling. I also smiled.
I had the Pac-Man Plug and Play, got it for my eighth birthday before my trip to Puerto Rico that same day. I had to wake up early and I was tired so I wasn’t that excited when I got it when I made it back home after the trip I played it. I thought it was good
I used to own a few plug and play games: these include Bob the Builder, Winnie the Pooh, Disney minigame compilation, Deal or No Deal, Sesame Street Bongos, Elmo’s World and this SpongeBob one.
I remember this Plug n Play Console & actually still own it. It was a lot of fun as a child. Favorite game was definitely between the Maze or the Chum Bucket/Donkey Kong ones.
I had this!! I loved it so much too. My favorite games as a kid were Spongebob’s Bubble Pop and The Super Chum Bucket. I also have a ton of memories of playing Patrick and the Maze.. I also used to have a Dora plug and play, but I remember this one more
The Super Chum Bucket! I remember playing this so much! This was before I knew about Donkey Kong believe it or not, but ironically I think I had played Mario vs. Donkey Kong for GBA at that point, which I noticed similarities to (fitting considering MvsDK was a more modern take on arcade Donkey Kong). As for the SpongeBob game, I don't remember if it had an ending but I sure tried to get as far as I could. I remember struggling with every level and getting to a new level was cause for celebration. I also remember there being a surprisingly high number of levels but I'm 99% sure that was my small child brain being amazed by four levels or something.
Oh god I just got some weird flashbacks. I remember that spongebob head box thing SO vividly. I don’t remember if I owned it or where I played it but I definitely played it. I think my dentists office had it.
Huh, i had a wildly different Plug n Play when I was younger. But, I only remember one game where you help Spongebob stack the ingredients of every krabby patty order.
One Christmas when I was really young I wanted that Spongebob console and a Spongebob TV I had seen advertised in a magazine. I even went to a mall Santa and asked him for that. This was at a time when I was obsessed with Spongebob so I really wanted it. I ended up getting a Lightning McQueen TV instead lol. It's fun to see what could've been though.
I'm pretty sure I still have mine lying around somewhere, but for years I was almost sure the whole thing was a fever dream, because no one seems to remember it.
I still have this game stored away somewhere. Haven’t touched it in years but I have very fond memories of playing Patrick and the Maze and Super Chum Bucket, and occasionally the Breakout clone whose name escapes me... I was never a fan of the other two games though lol
I have 3 of these things during my childhood and they ended up lost or broken. I remember seeing this at a savers a year ago and always regretted not getting it
I used to have spongebob plug in play. I used to play it all the time until it stops the plugins malfunctioned to where the color on the tv is wrong and we end up throwing it away
Hey, I have that console! I remember playing that when I was little, but unfortanetly, the controller got thrown out when we were cleaning out the former toy room, which was flooded with toys
I remember playing this as a kid back in the day it was "the best thing" I ever played, my mom tells me I always played it but i remember playing the plat former game the most because I didn't know what to do in the maze
Lol.

Ah nostalgia who else at the SpongeBob version
I had one but it was the pineapple joystick spongbob game not this one
@@runawaypacman I had both
I loved playing on it until I broke the joystick on the game
I loved playing on it
Qubrin formoush
I got the spongebob version at around 2009
I LITERALLY got this exact thing for Christmas, how ironic
Did you know? MAME has recently gained official support for many Jakks Pacific TV Games! This isn't one of them, but Fry Cook Games and a _bunch_ of Disney stuff are, as well as some Marvel and DC.
My grandmother bought me this when I was 8. I absolutely loved playing the games!
I thought there was a game on it where you could throw snowballs though.
Isn't that on another spongbob joystick game
@@runawaypacman The game he shows looks exactly like the one I have though.
Same
I had the one with snowballs too! I really liked that one and I had no idea there was another version of the console
@@KarissaCutieme too! I can’t find it anywhere
Omg I got one of these for Christmas back when I was either 6 or 7. I still have it in my closet and Soon I hope to find the time to play some of the minigames on it.

only people that owned the console could like this comment
i think i still have it ;3
I had both spongebob games and a couple Star Wars ones and they were very fun
I had this. then I lost it
I owned 2 of them
It still works
Only legends remember playing with these games
Ah! What a way to remember the past in a Saturday Morning! I remember fondly as a child having this around 2006. I remember having a hard time on Patrick’s maze level. Thx Vail!
It's the magical device that plugs right into the TV already has the game inside and is also a toy of spongebobs face what that's like 18 toys in one
When I saw that thumbnail, the memories came back.
I still have this exact one. The video and audio cables aren’t the best anymore, making it more difficult to play. My favorite was always the maze. It was fun to navigate.
I can literally hear the sound effects even with it muted thanks for this trip down memory lane
Jack's Specific sounds like a name that I haven't heard of for a long time.
*Jakks pacific
Jakks Pacific made most of the WWE Games, The PMD Plushes, and etc
I actually still have that somewhere from when I was a kid and for best game I liked the bubble pop one
I still have one of these and every time I look at it it reminds me of simpler times
OMG I CANR BELIVE IT
I HAVE THIS CONSOLE
NOSTALGIA ALERT
@GeNeTIC Voidz Please stop trying to act like you’re a teen your grammer, horrible fortnite profile picture, and your content probably makes you like 9
Nick The brick 8 do you have anything better to do than just hate? I see people like you all over UA-cam.
Even though I'm a late 2000s and early 2010s kid, I still remember playing the maze as a 4-6 year old.
I used to have this as a kid! I had another one too that looked like a pineapple, and they were pretty fun for 7 year old me
I had the pineapple one too but I actually hated it compared to the other one I had,the other spongbob joystick games seemed more fun.
I think i used to play this when i was younger, but i'm not sure if it's the same one.
I remember playing this game at my grandparents house a lot.
The nostalgia :)

Ahh the nostalgia! Especially the Patrick maze game and the chum bucket one :’-)
I would spend hours playing on those games and consoles in general
My childhood.... And I still have it lmao

I own that SpongeBob Plug n' Play! "Patrick and the Maze" and "The Super Chum Bucket" are definitely my favorite games on there.
I loved this and played it all the time and I remember getting so mad when my dad beat my high score on one of the games
I had this game as a kid! My little sister and I loved The Super Chum Bucket. Was so proud when I beat that game. Thanks for the nostalgia!!
I had the Pac-Man Plug and Play, got it for my eighth birthday before my trip to Puerto Rico that same day. I had to wake up early and I was tired so I wasn’t that excited when I got it when I made it back home after the trip I played it. I thought it was good

OMG!! I REMEMBER HAVING THIS AS A KID!! I used to play this for hours, especially the maze game with Patrick. Those were good times. :)
Congrats on 700K Subscribers!
I used to own a few plug and play games: these include Bob the Builder, Winnie the Pooh, Disney minigame compilation, Deal or No Deal, Sesame Street Bongos, Elmo’s World and this SpongeBob one.
I grew up playing the Spider-Man Plug n play
I used to have that too and the batman one.the spiderman one was more fun though.
The batman one was frustrating
I remember this Plug n Play Console & actually still own it. It was a lot of fun as a child. Favorite game was definitely between the Maze or the Chum Bucket/Donkey Kong ones.
I remember playing these when I was a kid.
I had the fry cook games plug and play as well as the jellyfish one.
That plug and play console is so classic
I had a Plug n' Play, but I only touched it once before storing behind my TV forever. I think it's still there after all these years!
The SpongeBob plug & play I remember playing was the Olympics plug and play.
Those plug and play devices were the best back then
You just unleashed so much nostalgia
Dude, I have a Namco Plug-and-play!
Mappy is my favorite!
I got this for my 4th birthday. Patrick in the Maze and the hook invasion were the games I played the most
I love this game. I've played it so many times, and the only 2 that I couldn't finish were the Sandy on the surfboard one, and the bubble popping one.
YES I HAD ONE patrick maze was my favorite 😍😍😍 the memories bro thanks for uploading this

I remember this!!! We also had a Disney/Pixar! In fact we still have them! I found it in our garage recently! I remember how much I loved these!😍
We played this plug and play with my dad all the time when i was a kid :')
Pretty sure that's the Fry Cook Games one
Every time I went to Goodwill as a kid, I would hope they have a good plug in play. I wasn't disappointed
OMG I literally have this in my living room! I also have mortal Kombat 1,SpongeBob racing,Dora The Explorer, Spiderman,And Pac-Man!
I has the SpongeBob head controller. Ah memories.
I also had the one with the jellyfish as the joy stick. Unfortunately it broke 2 years later.
Now bro needs to take a look at the fry cook games plug n play. That one had multiplayer and a whole campaign mode, and it keeps track of time records
Bizzare (i can't ducking spell)
WaS tHaT a JojO reFeRAnCe ??!?
I'm pretty sure I still have mine lying around somewhere, but for years I was almost sure the whole thing was a fever dream, because no one seems to remember it.

Just like donkey Kong now call it Donkey Kong 2.0
I have 3 of these things during my childhood and they ended up lost or broken. I remember seeing this at a savers a year ago and always regretted not getting it
I have that exact same spongebob game. I remembered getting it for Christmas along side a sega and Pac-Man plug-in.
Oh man, this one was my FAVORITE plug and play as a little kid!
That plug and play spongebob game, i have it in my room and remember playing it but then, for some reason, it didn't work pro blably a battery leak
I used to have spongebob plug in play. I used to play it all the time until it stops the plugins malfunctioned to where the color on the tv is wrong and we end up throwing it away
Congratulations on 700k
Hey, I have that console! I remember playing that when I was little, but unfortanetly, the controller got thrown out when we were cleaning out the former toy room, which was flooded with toys
I had that once as a kid but it got lost due to years of moving. And think the Patrick maze game is quite fun
I remember JonTron talking about this
I remember playing this as a kid back in the day it was "the best thing" I ever played, my mom tells me I always played it but i remember playing the plat former game the most because I didn't know what to do in the maze
I still have mine. Also, one of my most popular videos for awhile was of my Mrs. Pac Man plug-and-play which I also still have.
I still have mine, I remember playing the Donkey Kong knockoff a lot
0:04 I had an R2-D2 of that controller and it was a Revenge of the Sith game. I also had a PAC-MAN controller and it had a few more Namco games on it.
THIS WAS MY CHILDHOOD IM CRYING ITS BEEN SO LONG
I had a plug in play SpongeBob, but it was a different version called Frycook Games with different minigames
I have a pineapple house one (simple stuff like a drawing pad and stacking krabby patties) and a "fry cook games" one.
Jesus Christ.... The nostalgia punched me in the face with this one
I HAD THAT GAME
...I never figured out how to get Patrick out of that maze.
I remember this one! We loved this as well as a batman plug and play growing up
