2022 Giant Reign E+ V Bosch V Brose V Shimano Hill Climb Test

Today's Motor test shows how the 2022 Giant Syncdrive Motor performs in hill climbing compared to the many other eBike motors we have tested.
All motors were tested with 3 runs up the hill by each rider , The leader board shows the fastest time achieved with each motor.

Does the engine rattle or make and noises on the way down? How does it compare with power delivery compared to the Bosch and ep8 etc

We haven't tested the smart system yet but motor power is unchanged so it should be very similar to the previous Bosch test

Only so much room for times on the screen and the M620 is really in a class of its own. Not directly comparable to the factory eBikes running about half the power

I noticed it said Yamaha on the motor. Is this just the new Yamaha motor that Giant calls a Syncdrive.. and i noticed you don't have a yamaha test up so makes me wonder. If this had a Bosch motor or the M620 i would have been all over it but i really don't like the Yamaha motors, way to many issues
