@@FireLordJohn3191 My friends and family still play it relatively frequently... just not like when new content was coming out. It's definitely the favorite moba for all of us. Some of us have dabbled in League a bit since the Heroes updates mostly stopped, but it's not really the same feeling we like.
Since Microsoft took over Blizzard, they should restart development by announcing Master Chief lol
Ikr. It was actually innovative and had more than 1 maps. Its the casuals' moba though, and I suppose most ppl just prefer to tryhard that genre.

I remember when Carbot made a video almost three years ago about the shop and boosting and Blizzard generally screwing up expansions. Now they're back and took some Blizzard money to make an ad for them. Hilarious.

I think somewhere in 2030 Blizzard will discover survival genre of games finally. This new mode looks fun if it would release somewhere in 2018
They were working on a survival game for years, it was "announced" around the time D4 was announced, but sorta kept under wraps and not named.
It was also canceled this year.

@HexorTyr Yes, but this is Activision Blizzard...they haven't made decent creative/business decisions in years now.
Since no one answered yet, they have a new Battle Royale mode that's separate from the game where you play a basic character (you can choose the appearance but the name is your Bnet ID) with no abilities or equipment, and you pick up abilities when you get airdropped into the battleground with a total of 60 players in free for all PVP. There's a renown track to earn cosmetic unlocks in the Plunderstorm mode and also in Retail/Classic Progression
