My pleasure!
Thank you so much Aaron. You are the best! In the past two years of my journey I've learned so much from you. Thank you!
Thanks for subscribing and being a part of our steel family. Glad to help.
Aaron
Aaron, thank you for your instructional videos. I just purchased my first pedal steel after years of wanting to learn.. Your videos have inspired me to take the plunge. Thanks again for your time and effort!!
Thanks so much that is so cool! My son and I are still working on a beginner chorus. Hope you hang in there, and if we can help let us know.
Keep Picking!

Love your instruction videos, and sound of your steel, l am over 80 years old now and has been playing many years , but still love trying to learn from the pro,s like yourself, I,ve have an old sho bud LDG for many years, and still enjoy it, ps. What's the diameter of your steel bar, my hands are not so good anymore, thanks for all you do for us old steel lovers..
Thank you very much for the kind words, Randell! For my main bar, I use a 15/16 x 3.375 BJS bar. You might want to look into purchasing a 12 string bar from them which would be a little longer. That should make it easier to hold. I have been looking into getting one as well, but haven't been able to, yet.
Hope that helps, thank you again, and keep picking!
I love the way you make your steel cry. What a great player. I thank you so much.
Johnny thank you and I am glad you liked the video!
Thanks, Aaron,
Steel Picking
Is there any way we can have a conversation?
Jeff you can send a private message through my UA-cam channel that would be the best way to contact me.
Brother,I LOVE your tone!
That was the first song I wanted to learn on my steel 3 yrs ago.Learned it from Johnny Up.Cant thank him enough.I’ll now pick your lesson up and move forward.
Great . This is a classic and one we all need to add to our list.
Thanks. Aaron
I have been looking for that song "Together Again" on here.. Thank you for adding it.. It has a very special mening to me.. my husband is gone now. But I still have the wonderful memories of when we always danced to " Together Again " at The CPO CLUB WhenWe Still Had The Navy Base Here In Orlando.... It is a beautiful Country Classic . Your ( Real Country Music Is Beautiful )...
Thanks for the breakdown ~ Sarah tore it up. I'm a newbie and I appreciate it. It will go beautifully with Tom's version. Mahalo! Johnny
Thanks for the comment, Johnny! Sarah's version is the one that I actually based my rendition off of. She was really true to Tom's original version with Buck Owens.
Thanks again, and keep picking!
Yesss Sarah rocked it.... i think Sarah, Paul Franklin, Tom Brumley, John Hughley played it best.
Great Job
Steve, thanks.

Thanks for this Aaron! I’ve recorded a simpler version, but I wanted to add to it. This allows me to do so. I sat and tabbed it out in “C” since that is what I recorded it in. I may post it on my UA-cam channel when I get it recorded!
Cool. Let me know when you get it uploaded. Glad you liked what we did.

Mate steel guitar just sounds awesome. I would love to watch someone play, "It just might be a one-shot deal " by Frank Zappa. However the steel guitar is performed by Sneaky pete kleinow. Awesome track. Hopefully someone hears my prayers 🤗😉😅
Gotta love the ZUM...accuracy
Yes, they make a great guitar!

Excellent instruction... what is your copedant... and do you operate any half stops on this song.
Dwight, here is my copedent. ua-cam.com/video/x4vb0HYwJ3Q/v-deo.html . You can play the song with a half pedal or with the half stop. I use the B to Bb knee with the A pedal to achieve the same note. I thought I discussed that in the lesson sorry its been a while.

Quick question, what tuning is your guitar in?
Hello. This is Jim. I'm learning this song from your video. I have a Hudson 6 string and at the 3:06 mark, you mention hitting strings 6 and 1. I do not have the 1,2, 9 or 10th string on mine. Can you or someone help me with a means to compensate for getting the same notes as you do on 6 and 1 on mine?? Thank you and I LOVE your playing!!
Thank you for the kind words, Jim!
That is probably giving you the five chord in the progression. You should be able to go to your 5 position to achieve that. Sorry, it's been a while since I've recorded this, but hope that can help!

Aaron as I tewatch this lesson, I notice you say "she does it like this....." is this sara jorys version or something? You may have said that and i missed it. Just curious.
Man, I cant get over how that Zum sustained and sounded. I wish I had this guitar brother! God bless
Yes, this is the Sara Jory version.
The Zum was a great guitar as well. The original owner that I got the Zum from was able to repurchase the guitar back which I was glad to see since he later told me he regretted selling the guitar. He actually sent it back to Zum and had it completely reworked. I'm sure he's making lots of beautiful music on it.

Dave Hartley is the master. Try watching him for the best sound and smoothness of the steel guitar. He is the master of the pedal steel.
Jerry, you are right Dave Hartley is a fine player. Thanks for sharing.
