Thanks Peter.first story was interesting.I wonder what happened to his friend in the end.the last one was very upsetting as he couldn’t be with her at the end.take care .Damon
But wow, that Naak girl seems to be the real deal. One in a Million. I really hope Albert and she got out of those troubles eventually. It warms my cold heart to hear these kind of stories. Thx for sharing!
I liked 2nd story. Very positive and forward looking. Interesting to be reminded of Thermae and its 444 fever. Thanks for keeping our spirits up by sharing these stories.
I really want to give you a story of a guy I know in Pattaya. A guy who left his wife & young kids high & dry to move to Pattaya & chase skirt. He went totally broke doing such & asked me for money. The last I heard, he was still begging to other foreigners on the streets of Pattaya. I feel sorry for his two young kids back in the UK, who not only lost their dad but also because he didn't care about them. This guy thought the grass was greener, he thought Pattaya & girls there, were everything. Now he has nothing & all because of what he thought was everything. True story
@@ThailandBound Hi Peter, the story is that in a nutshell, to put more detail into it would serve no good to anyone. Unfortunately. The guy knows he messed up big time but it took him to hit rock bottom, to realise it. Theres many like him who go to Thailand & especially Pattaya for the girls only. Many find out the hard way because they don't learn from their own past mistakes...or indeed others. Many don't use common sense & brains.
Hey Peter, there's a huge market for specialist counsellers based in Pattaya, offering a service for foreign guys who make all the usual mistakes with bar girls. Maybe the counselling service could be named... 'Theres One Born Every Minute'
First story goes to show Pattaya can be a trap if you let it become one. I heard in a song once, "don't bite off more than you can chew, there's things down here the devil himself wouldn't do" now that song is in reference to Mexico but I think goes well for places like Pattaya.
I'll be talking about this on my livestream next Saturday as apparently there are quite a few guys have been left stranded in Pattaya because their money has run out
Great stories mate , yes Thermae Cafe is for sure am experience.. sound like he did quite well for himself in The Land Of Smiles. Never get attached no matter how young or old you are.. enjoy the good times 👌
Stumbled across your channel yesterday as one of your videos came up on my YT feed. When you tell a story of a man getting hoodwinked by a foreign woman when the man is looking for nothing more than love and companionship, is not an issue being stupid. It’s an issue of being naive and innocent in the ways of love and war. These types of stories go back decades. As with myself and a Colombian bargirl while stationed in Panama. I was young and innocent but fortunately the decisions made did not affect me in my future. MEN need to wise up to these situations and stop letting the little head and heart take control of the big head. But not an issue of being stupid or dumb.
It's very nice to read a comment like this because most people who have never been to Thailand and similar countries just assume that the men who get caught out are all stupid.
3 weeks to go mate…. 43 years old been alone a ling time now… uk based… worked & saved really hard to make this move a reality…. Care more about the gorgeous sunsets and warm weather than I do with the game play… happy to walk & watch what’s going on… good food and funny moments incoming… I’m a new-be but I feel like I’ve learned a lot from watching & listening to other’s stories. I can’t wait to land there if I’m honest. Looks like a lovely place to open your mind, spending money, drinking/eating & generally just exploring and having fun…. Pattaya… here I come…. Soon… please be kind…. Lol😊
Hello Peter......I love this Storys. Soon i travel to Pattaya for a few days. Can you or anybudy recomand a nice Hotel? or someone what s to meet for a drink? Thanks... :-)
Peter, you didn't finish the story about Albert. Did he join the Pattaya Flying Club or is he still living in the tiny apartment of his bar girl? You have a knack for telling these stories but this one left me knackered.
In the other version of the story with different people he eventually gets a good job and everything works out. He is a computer programmer in that one though, not a cook.
Enjoyed your stories again tonight Peter, it’s a shame the authorities didn’t let the guy in the last story travel back to farewell his girlfriend 🥲…look forward to your live stream next week 👍
Hi Pete, thanks for sharing as always. The guy from the first story won't be the first, or the last. The second story: the guy did his research and knew how not to get burnt. My condonlancies to the man in the final story.
Story one: Never loose your head unless you know you have thousands in money behind you. Also, if he was a proper chef why couldn't he get a job in Thailand or S. E. Asia ? Go to the destination of your dreams, enjoy yourself, but make sure you have a reserve of money at home to carry you over until you can get a job locally or regionally.
Common sir, think how a Korean guy might feel when they see people calling them 3 inches. It's just small and insecure people need bar girls and bigger Koreans get all the ladies
@@DE47H I don't have any problems with Korean's i lived in the Philippines 5 years so i hear lots of stuff, that was just a common thing bar girls at parties would say.
They don't call Koreans anything in the Phillipines. Because other foreigners don't enteract with them. This is because their universally disliked due to consistently rude arrogant behavior. I lived in the Phillipines for 5 years.
@@prestonphelps1649 i lived there 2010 to 2010 but more valid 2015 to 2019 and the massage girls told me that, 1 bar girl also repeated that. they are the 3,3,3 , i will admit some Korean's are rude they like to hang with each other in large packs and make lots of noise ect ect but not all are like that, and most the massage girls and bar girls like them because it's easy money.
Hi Peter, from tale number 1, it turns out that this is a common story for homeless farangs in Pattaya (seemingly there are quite a number of them), one is a regular on Walking Street that spins a bullsh*t story about getting robbed and that they stole his passport and credit cards, but although I gave him Bt200 just to get him to go away, but then I returned about 3 - 4 Months later and I met him again on WS and he gave me the same story again, obviously he has a short memory. Then it became obvious that he was a love struck tourist that just ran out of money without buying a return ticket. I was under the impression that you had to have a return ticket to get your visa on arrival approved, but maybe I am wrong. Personally, I always take extra cash and travel insurance to cover unexpected expenses and always go home with the said, extra cash.
I don't think you need a return ticket, even if they say you do. I used expedia to book tickets a couple of years long ago, and they booked me in, but not back out, even though their website said that it was all good and specifically to not call them to confirm. So I entered with no return ticket.
@ThailandBound No, it is because whoever sent in the story made it up. You have actually read an extremely similar one in another video, just in that case it was a computer programmer and not a cook.
Nice video ...bit off topic but have you noticed on Facebook comments eys...the translation from Thai to English has been stopped? I did hear that someone disrespected the Thai royle family so they took action , sounds crazy to me !!!
I read earlier today that Facebook had mistranslated a message from English to Thai and that it upset someone in high authority. Then someone in Thailand had Facebook turn on the computer translation.
@ThailandBound Not that similar, lol. Point is, most of these stories that get sent in to social media sites are made up, you see tons of them on reddit. I would guess that one of the stories was inspired by the first, they just changed the characters around a bit 😀
I don't agree with that I think the majority of the stories I sent into my channel are basically true there's too much detail for them to be made up and even if some are is still good entertainment I think they call it fiction
Should have said 1) No windows in the room I was in and 2) Have not been back to Thailand for 2 years now so not used to the heat that we have at the moment.
Love the stories, I'm 64, would love thailand I'm sure. Fortunately I found a true beautiful angel 10 yrs ago. Love the stories.
Cheers Peter, & everyone who took time to write in, it's much appreciated by all who listen every Saturday. 👍

It is a fake story though, he has read a very similar one in one his other videos 😂

Great job once again thanks Peter
Good stories Peter , thanks for the entertainment.
Cheers, Peter. I always enjoy your uploads.
first guy - loses job, running out of money, owes debt - let me buy a one way ticket to Thailand with no plan, makes sense
Albert story is probably 90% guys who want to live Thailand for long term .
4-4-4 men, 555++ Story #3 was indeed sad, but his love for her and also her family was a beautiful thing
Thanks again for the stories Peter
My heart goes out to guy in the third story.

It used to stay open literally all night I called out at 6 a.m. in the morning, back in those days it was just full of Western foreigners
The first story was touching.

Hi John, that was it basically…The guy left the story about Albert as last seen in Pattaya and then he lost touch so I don’t actually know.

That last story made me cry. I know how devastated I would be if my Thai wife died especially so young.
Yes it was a very sad story I almost never read it out
I was so looking forward to a car crash story in this episode. 🤣

Second story the bar is Thermae bar ... full of Japanese mongers
Yes, surprised he didn't observe the large amount of Asian men in the bar.
These thai birds only see us desperate flangs for one thing 💰
Thai girls are OK, I am always talking about bar-girls and gogo bar girls not decent Thai woman
Thumbs up

I'm surprised the chefs could not find work in Thailand I have met many foreign chefs working there.

Did the girl just send a naked drawing of herself back to her family?😅
Yes, I was wondering about that.
444 men???
555 😂
Yes I've never heard that one before either

8 inches
8 minutes
800 baht

Only 800? You must be a hansum man
I thought they called you 911 due to the need to call the cops 😂
You have read a very similar story to the first one in a different video, just with different people but the central theme is very much the same.
I don't get your point? There are so many similar stories because people go through the same scenarios, I don't see what's so unusual about that.
