Great stories Peter any guy on his first trip to Thailand is fair game for the girls and its better to learn the ropes on your first trip, I'm on the first plane out of here as soon as possible 😂🙏🇹🇭✈️
Thanks as always Peter. Just done first story...the guy was absolutely not an idiot - quite the opposite in fact, and the reason I say that is because he had exactly the right attitude to when it all came out in the wash. He just chalked it down to experience, accepted that he still had an awesome time, and moved on, and most importantly....still can't wait to get back to Thailand - makes two of us!! Things like that are all part of the Thailand learning experience....a rite of passage, if you will..... Must add, I love your weekend stories Peter, always look forward to them - part of my weekend routine now....sit down with a cuppa and just chill and listen. Your reading skills have improved tremendously too, they really have, if you don't mind me saying so....👍👍👍👍🙂🙂🙂 Right, onto number two......
Thanks David, I appreciate that and I'm glad you enjoyed the stories. I used to just read the stories directly from the emails that were sent to me but that doesn't really work well, now I rewrite them, take out all the slang and bad language then when I'm done I rehearse the stories first before doing the actual recording that's why they come out a lot better.
Car crash bar-girl stories is right Peter. Great stories. As long as what they lost is minimal I guess a learning experience. Massively inflated prices of course newbies without research and knowledge....get taken on. Solvent and to tell the tale at least experience.
´Are you hungry, because I am?´ Hahaha. Go ahead babe, I'll wait for you, LOL ´She promised to be faithful´ Hahaha. She wouldn't be faithful even if he paid her money to be faithful.
On the first story , i agree with you. The guy was new to Thailand and had no idea what was happening so i did not consider him to be stupid, only naive like we all were when we first came to Thailand.
Thanks peter I can relate to the storys and you have to roll with it, your 3rd story I do disagree the ladys up in the village's no the score. They change once they are back in there homes and the minute they get back to Pattaya they change back. Trouble is expats want to change the ladys that's why there are so many horror storys Keep the story's coming.
1st story, not stupid, oblivious! I don't know, perhaps I was just one whom would be critical of everything, but I got scammed once, for $10 (at 18) and that was the beginning of my scrutiny of any and all encounters with anyone. Another IMPORTANT thing is that it is absolutely TRUE that "nothing ventured, nothing gained", so I give people a chance. If they intend to screw me, it becomes apparent as time goes on. Keep alert, no matter where you are and, these days, identity theft and scam advertisements are SO pervasive that no one should ever be trusting of new people in their lives. Your stories are great, never stop relating them, but I have to admit, I do judge the people that were hurt badly, with a jaundiced eye.

Living in Thailand for years now. I always wonder how humiliating must be to find out that the money your giving to your thai "girlfriend" are being flipped to her REAL thai boyfriend or husband. No wonder that some thai people think so poorly about farangs, i mean, can it get more stupid than this? Hopefully some will wake up by listening to these stories

The behaviour of the Western woman in the first story seems common amongst women in the West. The bar she had set for the guy was so low, no wonder he got scammed by the freelancer. I don't blame him (or any of the men in stories like this) for being scammed, given their dating/marriage experience in the West. I live in the West, and I usually make myself invisible to Western women. Which is not hard to do, as an Asian man and the stereotypes that come along with it (funny how China has over 1B people, despite that XD).
I believe some things that lead men into falling in love with bar-girls and GoGo dancers could be due to a number of reasons, namely; loneliness, depression, and a feeling of rejection. A messy divorce, mental health issues, and a lack of communication skills, no self-esteem, a lack of judgment and a lack of confidence; the list goes on and on. Many men do not go into bars to find love and live happily ever after with a Thai bar girl or a GoGo dancer but moreover, these men find that they are in the company of a pretty, young girl who shows them affection and seems to take a genuine interest in them. This gives the man a feeling of temporary happiness and total blindness to the real situation in front of them. Thai bar-girls are charming, cunning and good at what they do! They have years of practice and 100’s of victims under their belts! It is so easy for these kind of men to be sucked into a situation they did not plan on and end up in a situation that begins to takeover their lives.
@@ThailandBound For sure Peter. Practice makes perfect, as the saying goes. The way I see it: If Adam (as in from Genesis) couldn't get over his desire for a mate (and hence Eve), then what chance do we mere mortal men have? Given the attitudes of Western women (chip-on-shoulder, "strong independent and don't need no men" but expect you to be a provider *and* a protector in times of need, etc) coupled with *one-sided* family court laws, the men in those stories simply become food for the cunning freelancers and go-go dancers. I have been learning a lot from these stories, and I thank these men (and you) for sharing them. Their stories remind me of the classic Robin Williams quote, which says: "I used to think that the worst thing in life was to end up alone. It’s not. The worst thing in life is to end up with people who make you feel all alone."
That is not common behavior for western women. In fact in the US it’s usually the man that screws up marriages. Most women in marriages that last as long as this guys talking about usually stay.I’m a bit suspicious of this guy and how he says she let herself go and a therapist told he t to leave the marriage. It doesn’t work that way unless there’s physical abuse.I’d bet there’s a lot more to this dudes story.

21 years ago Hard Rock Cafe was the best party in the world.... unfortunately about 10 years ago the decision was made in Florida to remodel and all the Thai charm was replaced by a New York City factory club atmosphere. Bangkok was so great years ago but the golden age passed into history and personal memories for those lucky enough to have lived here.

Peter, the third story caught my attention a little. The guy spoke of the women in Issan (not bars) showed themselves to be a total opposite to the bar girls, as in not swindlers, but very decent - would you have any input to that statement? Thank you once again for everything you do to entertain us,.. I see another beer coming your way my friend.
The only thing I can add really is that before the girls arrive in the bar area’s they don’t have experience so are much more innocent at that point and not yet hardened to the bar-girls way of life.
@@ThailandBound thank you for that. One more question if I may, it’s a little off the original question. To your understanding, if a Thai girl has a tattoo or two and let’s say something small (I’m chatting with one who says she has two small ones, 1 on her wrist and another on her arm) not knowing Thai culture etc. could I assume she is or was a bar girl, freelancer or similar (especially being from Issan near the Thai-Laos border) or do the girls Nowa days do it just like the western girls do? To me that would be a red flag just having any tattoos and secondly from a poor end of the country!?.. thanks Peter

NEVER take a Tuk Tuk. They are two stroke, smoky, smelly, VERY uncomfortable and almost always a scam. Taxi and insist on "METER"!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Unless you want to negotiate a rate for a very long distance. You say "METER" and point to the meter. They understand. Leap out immediately if they don't comply.

@@ThailandBound For Sure - I am sure you know the Marine Disco - Happy A Go Go - Lucky Star Bar - TQ1 and TQ2 and of course everyone has had a beer at BJ Bar with BJ - now Soi BJ. Did you see the interview with BJ with Buzzin Pattaya?
That guy paid about ten times the usual tut tut price. Tut tut from your hotel to the city centre, walking St cost next to nothing - - 70 or 80 baat. They got scammed big time.

Thailand is not one big red light district. Generally, the Thai people are nice, away from the party and sex scene. You will never be allowed to be Thai though, no matter how long you live there, whether married to a Thai national or not. It definitely is a breath of fresh air away from the West. Many people, mostly men, desire or actually do, retire there.
Patpong Ping Pong. NOT titillating. But, hilarious? You bet. Don't order drinks at the show. Just pay the fee. I didn't get scammed. I was VERY entertained. BTW, much more than ping pong. This was a professionally done show. Bucket list stuff.
I could not watch the video you left a link on as it can’t be shown in the UK according to UA-cam but if you are saying a first-time visitor to Thailand should not even experience a ride in Tuk Tuk just once then unfortunately you are the kind of guy who should never leave his front door as the world is a dangerous place.
17:29 “ never been to Thailand, first time, first night”...words you should never say, regardless . Spent over double the amount on girls and probably overpaid 850 baht for the tuk tuk.
Sometimes guys help these girls with a little money as they know they are from poor families and they send money home. Because he gave her a little money doesn't necessarily mean he knew she was working.

No matter how dumb or naïve a man may act in Thailand, you very rarely hear of a man losing more money with his Thai ex than he does after getting divorced at home. And it usually sounds like he has a whole lot more fun before the wheels fall off in Thailand also.

Great stories Peter any guy on his first trip to Thailand is fair game for the girls and its better to learn the ropes on your first trip, I'm on the first plane out of here as soon as possible 😂🙏🇹🇭✈️
Probably have to wait till next year mate. Or 2023.
Thank you for helping
Your reading skills have improved tremendously too, they really have, if you don't mind me saying so....👍👍👍👍🙂🙂🙂
Right, onto number two......
@@ThailandBound ah, you have a little rehearsal....it really shows. Though I would imagine that you are just simply getting better at it!
Car crash bar-girl stories is right Peter. Great stories. As long as what they lost is minimal I guess a learning experience. Massively inflated prices of course newbies without research and knowledge....get taken on. Solvent and to tell the tale at least experience.
Love your videos ❤❤❤
Great nuggets of wisdom as always, and a lot of parallels with other countries in Southeast Asia.
Enjoyed the stories peter
Peter, very enjoyable stories, ty
´Are you hungry, because I am?´ Hahaha. Go ahead babe, I'll wait for you, LOL
´She promised to be faithful´ Hahaha. She wouldn't be faithful even if he paid her money to be faithful.
These con artists are so good at the long game, stringing their victims along for months if not years.

On the first story , i agree with you. The guy was new to Thailand and had no idea what was happening so i did not consider him to be stupid, only naive like we all were when we first came to Thailand.
Love your stories, Peter. Just had to tell you. Cheers.
Thanks I appreciate that
Thanks peter
I can relate to the storys and you have to roll with it, your 3rd story I do disagree the ladys up
in the village's no the score.
They change once they are back in there homes and the minute they get back to Pattaya
they change back.
Trouble is expats want to change the ladys that's why there are so many horror storys
Keep the story's coming.
Great stories..keep them coming!!🙏😀👍🏼
Thank you! Will do!
Peter we all have two heads
I think it’s better to listen to the big head
Not the little one 😝😝😝
Just keep playing the game with them 😄😄
I also would like to add never pay a taxi driver in advance. I was scammed by that one time.
I did enjoy the story again but I feel sad .ist like finding out santa Claus is not real
Thanks Peter enjoyed that, to be honest though, the biggest surprise was that you had a Korean wife I didn't know that😃
I also spent a lot of time in Thailand by myself
The stories this guy tells are the reason men need to be red pilled.
Them bar girls are scandalous. You really can't trust them. I have had my own bad experiences with them.
I have watched almost all your videos and I think this one is the record. You say ‘story’ or ‘stories’ eleven times before you begin the first one!
Would you like a refund?
@@ThailandBound I’ll let you off if you keep the ‘stories’ coming. In fact I might have a story for you. It’s a story about a story of my first trip to Thailand. Anyway it’s a long story so I’ll email you the story. Keep the stories coming and enjoy Thailand. Doesn’t look like Ed will be coming but that’s more of a saga!
Just joking mate
@@benleno You have issues.
That was a fun half hour thanks peter
Bitcoin is defying all laws of nature and TA in this new era with many speculations and many predictions gone wrong, it's outrightly wrong to just sit back hodl and wait maybe incur some losses along the line, that's a wrong mindset for an investors because as an investor finding ways to always increase and stack up more coins thereby making profits should be the way of life, even experienced traders are in doubt to take long or short position. People who invested in Bitcoin at the beginning or even in 2013 or 2015, when Bitcoin was crashing, have now become millionaires.
Great stories Peter. Some real life lessons there. I think the tricky part is trying to remember them with the beer goggles on 👍😂😂😂
Not sure what you mean there Mark

Another great video pete

It would be interesting to know what prostitutes really think about their Thai boyfriends.
Great. Story. Peter
Great stories.
Absolutely fantastic well done
You see, Thai women are the best. First story. Free lancers do have a heart!!!
Free lancers.all the same.same tricks.same scams.there all the same thai women.
Very nice video!

The first story was great, until the love part.
Great stories Peter
@J A ... WOW!!!.. what a surprise to hear this. She must be a genuine girl. I'm very happy to hear that from you and thank you for the advice.
@J A That is actually a Khmer tattoo, the "Black Eye Girl"(EP 108-2) from memory Angelina Jolie has one.
Seven years ago I met a Filipina lass,, to cut a long story short when I retired I moved to the Philippines ,, My partner owns her own house so dont pay rent ,, I send her $900 a month for everything,, even internet ,,
Wow, thats a lot.
Haha I hope them two fellas wised up a small bit.
They were very slow learners, right!
Each chapter of their trip sounded like it should have been lesson learned and time to start having fun. But nope, let's continue to pay this guy to follow us around Pattaya with his two older bargirls from Bangkok until the very end of our holiday 🤦♂️
Yes his summarizing of first story is good...it’s better to pay money to scamgirl and have a good time instead of having an accident or being robbed 😁...same moneyloss but no fun!
We dont pay it to stay, we pay it to leave
NEVER take a Tuk Tuk. They are two stroke, smoky, smelly, VERY uncomfortable and almost always a scam.
Taxi and insist on "METER"!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Unless you want to negotiate a rate for a very long distance.
You say "METER" and point to the meter. They understand. Leap out immediately if they don't comply.
But to someone who has never been to Thailand they must take a ride in a Tuk Tuk at least once, they are fun.
I actually enjoy the Tuk Tuks. In so long as you convince them to take you directly where you ask. Speaking some Thai helps.
Hahaha great stories again Peter
G'day mate, you didn't mention if Paul's friend had a shave as well.

Hi Tim, maybe we had been drinking in the same bar as I lived in Pattaya for 3 years.

You need to know how to play the game..when you know how they play..then you can have some fun times..😂😂😂
That guy paid about ten times the usual tut tut price. Tut tut from your hotel to the city centre, walking St cost next to nothing - - 70 or 80 baat. They got scammed big time.
Yes we kinda figured that
Certainly a happy ending for the tuk tuk driver!
The 2 girls started to stroke the 2 guys arms? hahahahahaha
Laughing with not at Pete first story

Thailand sounds beautiful, but the Thai people not so much.
The Thai people are mostly very nice but like every country you get a few not so nice
Suddenly, I've lost any desire to visit Thailand.
I'm going next month booked on Thai Airways have my Thailand pass already
Why? It’s a beautiful place. Just avoid the type of places in these ‘stories’. And bar girls

How much did it cost? I've been to Thailand, but didn't want to risk it. Most didn't want to say the price until after the show.
17:29 “ never been to Thailand, first time, first night”...words you should never say, regardless . Spent over double the amount on girls and probably overpaid 850 baht for the tuk tuk.
he did not know she was working but he gave her money any way ?? who does that
Sometimes guys help these girls with a little money as they know they are from poor families and they send money home. Because he gave her a little money doesn't necessarily mean he knew she was working.
Many farangs do it.
