My pack weighed in at 23 lbs without food and water. I was wearing my winter clothes when I weighed it, though. This hike turned out to be warmer than I expected, so the winter clothes were in the pack at the very end. We also took 7 days of food each and didn't account for the three days when a trail angel fed us a full meal. The bottom line is that we had way too much food!
@@tracyhinton9793 Awesome. I’m sure he told you about my trail condition report. About 30 minutes later I was feeling really bad about saying it was an easy section!
Oh my gosh, I can't imagine how hot I'd be with Frogg Togg pants over another pair of pants. Hey, love that old family bluegrass soundtrack! Y'all are pretty clever with the placement of those clip mics. A couple of times I was like, How can we hear April so well? She's got a mic somewhere? Where is it? Hehe. Where did you camp on the last night? Nice video!
Love the enthusiasm! And “see ya later” is the best line of the bit 🎉epic
‘I just don’t know’ as she stares at the table full of food.
Great Trip! Excited to follow your journey NOBO
I'll figure out how to shoot video on the X100VI before I start the hike.
You two amaze me! I enjoyed watching. The weight of those packs just made my mouth drop...I can't imagine. You guys are tough!

I was testing the mics. One of those ‘you need this! Only $19.99’ purchases. lol. They worked great.
The last night we were at Lick Log.
April is an absolute hoot! Hope we get a chance to meet you both on your trek!
Cool. We start mid-February!
Sweet shakedown!
@@phandly1 It was amazing. The Foothills Trail is highly recommended.
