True story, I worked "used book sales" and there was always one guy who always came and brought up all the history books. Finally one day I got up my courage and asked him why he was buying all the history books. He said to me I'm buying all the history books because they're trying to rewrite history. 🤷

I got told in my college class "you must be a Trump supporter" just talking about resilience and responsibility. This was in sociology, where we are supposed to have these conversations! In an investment class in 2019, we were asked to state one thing we would do if we were in charge. I said, “Return to either the gold standard or other hard commodity.” The class sat stunned and the instructor laughed and said, “Well, alrighty then, next….” That identified me as a Trump voter in their eyes. Pirates and thieves are raiding our ship, trying to set it on fire, while we pump money and soon, our children’s’ blood, into border disputes in Eastern Europe we caused by violating the Minsk Accord.
There is not going to be a “civil war” if Trump gets elected. The Dems will just increase their brattiness and Trump won’t hesitate to tamp it down this time correctly, as allowed by our Constitution and applicable guidelines for quelling street violence on the population.

I hated this about school. Teachers sometimes try to entice discussion and want you to spark controversy, but it's just never worth it. Even if the teacher is cool, the students will judge you harshly if you step out of line.
One time, a teacher wanted to comment on the illegal immigration problem. (This was back in like 2010.) She basically asked the class "who do you think of when you hear 'illegal immigrant?'" Very loaded question, I know. The class was silent for several minutes while she continued basically begging for anyone to say any answer. So I finally (in a sarcastic tone) said "Mexicans" because she wouldn't stfu.
The class HATED me for it even though the teacher said I was correct, explained her position, and was even Mexican herself!!! Like wtf??? Why are people getting mad at me??? SHE wanted that answer and I was JOKING!!!

My dad was born in 1931 and lived until 2010. In my opinion, this is the span of the greatest, quickest change in history. Although the TV was invented by then, it was only for the most wealthy. So he went from no TV, listening to the radio to having his own smart phone and learning text in his lifetime. But the one thing he always told us is “Times may change, but people never do”. The “ills of the west” that leftists complain about has been a common thread throughout man’s history, like Fighting to take over other peoples land, it’s not only a “west” thing. But they are rewriting history to make white people the historical “bad guys”.

Don't make a decision before you have studied all its aspects ! Don't make a decision when you are angry !
An iron company manager, while touring the company noticed a young man leaning against the wall and doing nothing.
He approached him and said softly, "How much is your salary?"
The young man was calm and surprised by the personal question.
He answered, "2500 dollars a month, sir. Why?"
Without an answer, the manager took out his wallet and took out 2500 dollars in cash, and gave it to the young man (as a termination of service).
Then he said, "I pay people here to work, not to stand around. Now, this is your monthly salary in advance. Get out and don't come back, and I don't want a discussion!!"
The young man was expelled from the factory
The manager looked at the rest of the workers and said in a threatening tone,
"This applies to everyone in this company , whoever does not work, we immediately terminate his contract."
One of the employees approached the manager and asked him:
"Do you know who the guy you fired?"
    The manager replied, "No."
"He does not work here, sir. He's a pizza delivery man."

Unintended consequences always happen because our brains are not capable of noticing, considering or predicting everything that can be affected. Especially when you consider that each and every person knows, within 6 degrees of separation every other person. ie my friends and family have friends and family that are unrelated or don't know me - those people have friends & family . . . If you know me you are 2 degrees separated from some people in Kenya, Uganda, Nigeria as well as those I know here in Oregon. And it's likely you can find a relationship between 2 specific people within 3 connections.

Far too many still do not understand who our True Enemies really are. It is not about Right vs Left. The International Banksters, the Mega Corporations and the Globalist New World Order controls every side. Even the Alt Right Influencers at the higher levels. The Globalists are Intentionally attempting to Destroy Western Civilization to Force the Great Reset. They must Destroy Everything before the can Build Back Better. That means destroying our Economy, our Financial System, Our Food Production, Energy Production, our Ability to Travel, and our very ability to continue our way of life. They need to make us completely reliant on Big Government just to survive. The Endgame is Depopulation of half the world's population and the Enslavement of the rest who manage to survive. It is Not Communism. It is far worse. TECHNOCRACY...

We saw this during Covid, when everyone was worshipping these bought and paid for government scientists who work in offices and go to expensive dinners, yet not listening to wastewater experts who not only could predict a surge of the virus, also knew how to kill and contain any virus because that’s what we do every single day. It’s madness, someone reads ten books and thinks the Middle Ages were dark, and an uneducated sewer worker like me reads dozens of history books about the same topic and has a completely different understanding.

I found out a lot of times with young Children it was just young Emotions and by the time I gave my full Attention, they had forgot what was so important. I was waiting at the arrivals exit for friends and watched this very nice gentleman talk to and pray with about 25 new recruits. They were overwhelming Hispanic, which is fine. It was very inspiring to watch this veteran help the new recruits. Anyways, I spoke at length with him. He said that the vast majority of new recruits are Hispanic immigrants that the military receives with the promise of accelerated citizenship of I believe with either 2 or 3 yrs service. So with the chaos at the border and what he said, this falls exactly in line with this discussion. I do believe Hispanics have conservative values, so how that could play out under military control of leftists, who knows...

@@steveperreira5850 -- I like the way you are thinking and don't disagree in principle...........but the states in the USA is not as "homogenous" as those Soviet bloc nations were. We have deep blue cities inside blood red states + cherry red counties inside bright blue states. Our country has experienced tons of internal migration over the years - possibly more than any other nation in the world.
Where do the lines get drawn? Who gets to stay and who gets to leave? We're from Virginia and aren't the ones who ruined the commonwealth. It's been damaged largely by those who moved into the state over the past 15 to 20 years. Do we fight a war to force them out? Do they get to force us to go elsewhere (we're already considering that anyway)? Lots of things to consider!
Assuming - for the sake of argument - that you could get the "red" states and "blue" states to have a peaceful divorce and go their separate ways..........what happens when the poorly-managed blue states collapse? Will they seek to raid the red states for energy, food and raw materials?

The left is desperately in cope mode thinking that an active and dedicated combat force of less than 250k would somehow survive against 50 million armed constitutionalist partisans or survive a solid third of the military (at least) abandoning their posts or actively opposing any call to fight against constitutionalist americans. It took the Russians 18 months to kill 250k UAF combat personnel. Admittedly that is a full fledged military, but what american constitutionalists don't have in the form of military assets and ordinance, they make up for in sheer numbers.
I'm not trying to dredge up race issues here, but there would be no significant or concerted force, the biggest problem would not be leftist whites, they'd fold hard and quick, it would be non-white ultra woke urbanites, their opposition would be far less compelled by good information but more a fear of what a constitutionalist takeover would entail.
So to illustrate, all those people violently protesting people shot by cops in the last 10 years would be the largest contingent of belligerents indirectly supporting the left, but they can't be counted on or organized in any meaningful way, it would literally be like fighting of a massive pack of wild dogs.
Some running, some attacking, some returning to attack after running, it would be very chaotic.

I’m not American, but I like this line of discussion. I believe in your second amendment right to bear arms and what it was meant for. However, the playing field has become very uneven. If a nation is trying to defend against a corrupt government that has muskets and cannons ( like in the civil war) you have a chance to succeed with numbers. Given that American has, almost definitely, the most advanced and powerful, military capability in the world, how could the American population possibly combat a corrupt government? And that’s if you can get most of the population to rise against it? I hope it never comes to that.

@@keepingitreal3035 Think the government will order a drone strike in American neighbourhoods? Well… come to think of it, they are Leftists, but still, I’d say it’s improbable, but not impossible.
Other than that, it’s a hard sell for an already disgruntled army to send them home and attack their own people. They’re already leaving in large numbers. An army’s leader is only as strong as the army themselves, and considering most soldiers are Right leaning, they’d be just as likely to defect if a Leftist government told them to open fire at their own.

This conversation is born out of a classical, liberal approach to learning that fosters critical thinking with foundational knowledge to analyze effectively. This needs to be highlighted. Most political, social, issues discussions come from positions of information, not knowledge. Rudyard and Nick show why this is so important.
