If you have experienced burning smell from your tumble dryer, I’ll show a possible solution in this video. It could be easier to fix, then you ever expected.
My advice, if you want to avoid from the same issue in the future, clean the daily filter after every use and rinse the condenser monthly depending on how frequently was used.

No, washer dryers are completely different and their cleaning is more difficult.
