Hello I have this model of condenser dryer and it seems to be working and heating but when I put it on extra dry program it makes a large screeching sound and doesn’t come on, do you have any of your videos to advise me what to check?
Hi George ! Thanks lot for sharing this video. Just question, then other pipe is inside water , from condensation, right? And the other pipe its out water for small deposit or if we want, for draining water into the house sewer . Thanks 🙏 good job
I have a 7kg beko dryer with the drawer at the bottom. I have been getting this error message 1 month after purchase. I had a technician out and watched exactly what he did and have had to take it apart myself a few times since. I had a new tech out and he could not find a problem. It is very frustrating having to clean every filter every time and empty the drawer at the back that is screwed in.
Hi sir, great job I would like to exploit some of your knowledge. I own an LG dryer, it keeps saying empty the tank, when I set it to cleaning mode by adding 1.5 litres of water through the water container port, when I start the cleaning program the pump sucks the water and brings it back to the water container (I messured it, it brings almost 1.5 litres back) and then it stops by showing the light of empty the water. The pump seems to have a good flow pressure, I checked it from the water compartment with the tank off, I could see the water pressure that the pump was bringing. I have it on top of my washing machine and drainage is available, would hooking it to the drainage help? Or sounds that I maybe have a faulty pump starter? Maybe something else causes the problem? Vents are clean, should I take it apart to clean possible fluf? It's a dual inverter heat pump dryer, 9kg, with WiFi and I wouldn't want to trash it
Hello Dimitrios, I recommend firstly a big clean all around the drum, pump. That is always useful. May the micro switch is defective or the floating switch. If you can let’s try to hook to the drainage, may that will sort your problem. I don’t get used to repair heat pump dryers, so I can’t say anything surely. Good luck!
I’ve tried everything on video (which is excellent)including a new pump, also tried heat reset button & tested electrics there but it’s still stopping after a few mins,I also notice there’s no heat in those few mins either, any other ideas I could try,the dryer is 2 years old
Hi Pamela, It could be so many things. I seen so much absurd reason. A tiny kitchen foil appeared by heating element and caused sort circuits. Other time where wire joined to heating element was a little oxidation and the blocked electric flow. These are examples, but I don’t know without diagnosis where and what is the problem in your machine. Check the condenser is it clean? Excessive fluff block hot air flow and can’t heat up the cloths and also stop the machine. I hope you can fix your dryer. 🤞
Hi After checking my switch its fine works ok, but there seems to be 240 volt at the pump all the time ? surely this isnt normal, and before i go buying another pump, thanks in advance
Hi, Sorry, I can’t answer your question. I don’t get used to check the voltage in the pump. If doesn’t work I replace it. I shouldn’t change the switch in any case , so I presume the pump is defective.
I have this tumble dryer but my control panel doesn't light up and no sound when i move the dial. I've checked the socket and the fuse nothing wrong there. any idea what what i can do fix this please.
Hey George thank you so much for the video - I have a beko dryer, not exactly the same as in the video so what I did was just the very first steps and removing all the water from the tank behind. Looks like it’s working fine now, would emptying this tank on a regular basis solve temporary the problem? Is it what triggers the “empty water tank” indicator ? Thanks Stéphane
Hi Stephane, The water pump doesn’t work well this cause the problem. If it would work well water shouldn’t remain in the tank only just a little bit, but that wouldn’t be a problem.
I have the same problem, so I watched your video. I opened the pump housing, emptied all the stored water from the bottom reservoir, cleaned everything. But during diagnosis I found, as soon as I press the micro switch up, the pump motor does not start but the machine stops with "Empty water tank" light. If I start the machine again, the pump motor starts, runs for about 20 second, then stops and the machine continues running. If I press the micro switch up again, the same thing happens that is the motor does not start but machine stops with "Empty water tank" light. I replaced the pump with a new one, but the problem does not go away. Any idea what is going on here?
One thing to test Put some water into the water tray and check does the pump push up in to the upper water tank. May there is a blockage in the water tube or somewhere else.
@@georgesworkshop8600 Not exactly. After replacing the pump, I am at the testing phase as you described in your video. I turn on the start switch, the machine starts. Then I press the micro switch, the pump does not start but the machine stops and Empty Water Tank warning light comes on. Now if I press the machine start switch again, the machine starts, the pump motor also starts by itself in a couple of seconds (note that I have not pressed the micro switch), the pump motor stops by itself after about 5 seconds, machine continues running. Then if I press the micro switch, the pump motor does not start, but the machine stops with "Empty water tank" light. The same issue was seen when I was doing diagnosis on the old pump. I think the old pump is not faulty. But the problem is somewhere else.
Big thanks to you, your video is so helpful because have been able to notice that my dryer water pump is not and working and that could be the reason for not working properly. It's only working and after awhile inside the dryer will be a little hot but the cloth not rolling inside and drying and not bringing any warning sign. Pls do you know where Or how I can get another pump plsss. Thank you

Hi, I don’t think you did anything wrong. This is quite normal. When it switched on the machine starts with a short pump, probably you seen that. Is the program running?
@@georgesworkshop8600 Hi George. It ran perfectly fine heating ok etc. I left before it ended. She tried running it on timed and cool to rule out sensor and over heating and is telling me it does the same but timer continues to count down
Hi Paul, Have you tested the capacitor? May with full load it can’t give enough power to start turn the drum. This is why it ran ok with a tea towel, but stop with a normal load.

Drying setting should not have effect on noise. In my opinion there is no relation between extra dry settings and noise.
My one the rimers are out on mechanic do you know why tis would happen.and do you knw were the sencer is

Hi Fabio,
If you want to put on sewer you should use the tube where water is pumping up into the tank. The other is the overflow water pipe.
Brilliant video
