Absolutely cant beat that. I went with the intention to buy the Dewalt set but after seeing the price of these I got them. Very satisfied.

Thanks for the chuck tip. I never knew they had any adjustment. My thoughts were It was a cheepo drill and it served me well. Thanks again for the tip. I will try to get more life out of it now.

I have used Bosch tools for many years and you can not beat them. I real like the battery powered circular saw. The only bad thing is the battery is expensive but well worth the cost.

The way I said it in the video doesn't really make sense now that you point it out. When backing out a Phillips head screw if there is more friction on the screw to wood than there is on the bit to screw than the bit will slide out and spin. That is where I needed to add weight to keep the bit in the screw. Because the impact is just short bursts of torque I have not had to add weight when backing out a screw. Sorry for screwing up the way I said it. Thanks for pointing it out. Have a good day!

Cool. Thanks Jay. I need to upgrade. I currently have drills like you used to have.

Tried the 12 volt impact and just after a year the charger failed and seems to be a very common issue. So before you buy the Bosch 12 volt line I’d check to see if they have updated their chargers. The charger cost $50 to replace but their is a couple Chinese aftermarket on amazon for less than $20. Just something to consider before buying.

Been looking for these, problem is the price, cheapest I`ve found in England is £190, that's about $315

That's what I thought, but it's not 100% true :) Using right size bit for the philips screw (each diameter wood screw has different bit - and that's really uncomfortable) would help a lot. All or almost all drywall screws has the same heads and that's why I like them.
One more thing, try to remove chuck of your old drill (wich slips) and tighten those two small screws that are under the chuck - this will probably help.

I already have a 12 volt PS31 drill. Would the PS41 be the best match for it in terms of usability?

Is the drill still holding up? I will be needing one soon.

Why did you had to put all your weight on your older drills?

I think he caught a full set of Ryobi 18v from doing a job for a company that worked with Ryobi. Seems to use those now, though they're spray painted black. I'd be surprised if he didn't still use these drills for some things though.

Who's with me that all manufacturers now have it backwards on their tools: The 1/4" hex driver needs to have the CLUTCH, not the drill with the keyless chuck... Here's my argument:
The drill is most often used with loose drill bits, saving the expense of making them hex. YES, there's hex drill bits, and they do offer the convenience of quick change, but there's no arguing you pay more for them and my design still lets the hex driver go into full torque drill mode with the clutch if you want to use those. But here's the challenge: tell me what you use the chucked drill for today that the driver isn't the better tool for -- if it had the clutch...???? Every bit, impact socket, 1/4" extension, flex extension, etc., all of that is designed for the IMPACT DRIVER but IT NEEDS A CLUTCH TO WORK PROPERLY. One of the first brilliant tools was the Dewalt 12v Screwdriver, as they got it. Any cabinetmaker or project guy should have been willing to push grandma out of the way in order to get his hands on one. Good god, tiny, powerful, hex, and a clutch. Simply a dream tool. Now today EVERY MANUFACTURER should be making the impact driver have the clutch, and get rid of the clutch on the keyless chuck drill it's now virtually pointless...
    - Impact drivers are more compact to fit in tight spaces to drive screws (it's the chuck, Chuck)
    - all fasteners should be driven with a clutch, no question about it
    - there's just no major reason to include the clutch in the drill anymore.
Some manufacturer needs to get this and just move on to the next phase and ignore the history that you put the clutch in the drill, because that was the only tool back then. With impact drivers actually being the arguably more useful tool today (and with pretty much no argument against that once they have a clutch), and nearly a must have for anyone other than a very light use homeowner, it's time to CHUCK THE CLUTCH IN THE DRILL, and put a CLUTCH IN EVERY IMPACT DRIVER.
Who gets it and is with me????????????? Buehler??? Remember, you heard it here first....
