This place has great curb appeal! The extensive, manicured landscaping is really impressive. Rarely do we see a front garden so beautifully tended. I love the side porch, which could provide an alternate place for laundry machines. The ground floor has large rooms laid out for good flow. The bedrooms all have generous built-in wardrobes. The rear garden is as impressive as the front, with mature trees and shrubs lovingly cared for, and it's not overlooked. Although it was suggested that the house is "dated", it's in top condition with quality fittings and fixtures. The fact that it's an easy stroll to shops is just the frosting on the cake. Based on this video, I would call this a rare gem that will attract bids.
The house has been nicely maintained. The yard both front and back are lovely. Bedrooms are nice size. The updates could be expensive. New kitchen cabinets, new carpet, new flooring in kichen, new window dressings, take down wallpaper and paint. Already asking alot for the house.
lovely specimen of a Monkey Puzzle tree (Araucaria araucana). According to Wikipedia (paraphrased): In about 1850, Sir William Molesworth, the owner of a young specimen at Pencarrow garden near Bodmin in Cornwall, was showing it to a group of friends, when one of them - the noted barrister Charles Austin - remarked, "It would puzzle a monkey to climb that".
It's a very good size house, with an excellent layout. But the endless horribly tortured evergreens in the garden and the dated "no sex please, we're British" decor is somewhat off-putting. It'll take a small thermonuclear device to sort that lot out.
£325,000 and needs updating (more expense). UK prices are a rip off for old housing stock. I paid just £210,000 for a brand new 4 bed, 3 bath villa with swimming pool and tropical gardens in Thailand. Beat that.
I love this house! It's so retro. And beautifully maintained.
Crikey! You'd be hard pressed to find a 1 bedroom flat for that price where I live😄
Wow. What an amazing place. Personally I wouldn't change a thing except fix up bathrooms. It's perfect

What a lovely, tidy home and garden that presents as if in a home and garden magazine.
What a beautiful house! And, the gardens both front and back are an absolute delight. So spacious and well maintained. 😊
Hi Gary, I've always known it as the monkey puzzle tree.
Thanks Lizzie 😊 Regards Gary

I agree needs to be revamped but I can see the potential in this property.
Nice house I like it, cottage style. For me it wouldn't need any updating. Lovely front and rear gardens but very high maintenance. Cheers.
A lovely house and garden .
Beautiful!
One day I will be having the same house in UK

Hi Erika, that's interesting, and I'm sure I will be quoting that next time I come across a 'Monkey Puzzle Tree' 😊 Regards Gary
It is so old fashioned though, needs a lot of up dating

Wow! We can't beat that Steven. Regards Gary.
