Thanks Noplandan, I hope to show the average guys and gals new places to enjoy Corpus with different outdoor videos. Part II of "Catching a Predator" and will be going on something old but new to me... "Chasing a Water Dinosaur". Look for that in July. Finally got the Avid upgraded and will. be on King Ranch Shoreline next and Hopefully will get to go to Lake Gulf of Mexico if it get flat in Aug. We we’re there Friday the 6 of July and always park on channel side and walk down to jetty. On our walk back around 7:00 pm halfway down we ran into a rattlesnake laying on the concrete, he crawled over onto the rocks on jetty side. So b careful out there and alert.

Packery Park is small and the channel can be a problem will boaters. Weekends are so busy. It can be a problem. Spots to drive up and fish are limited but that is part of fishing. Try weekdays when possible.
When leaving Packery Park you can only go right. Toward the the Bluff and u turn at the new light. to go back to the Jetties. You cannot go left from Packery Park @@alm9951

Does the park have a close time no later than?
Do you need a 4x4 to make it out to the jetty’s? I got a sedan but want to check it out
Only 2 problems with packery channel park: 1 boat douches speeding through. 2 be prepared to get stuck, if bottom fishing.
