@@Carnivorousplanthelp no, thank you. Wow, I recently had a crazy experience at a flea market in Asia where I bought what I thought was a Nepenthes plant, but it turned out to be something completely different! 😅 I was so excited to add a new carnivorous plant to my collection, but it just goes to show that it's important to do your research and be cautious when purchasing plants from unfamiliar sellers. I've learned my lesson and now I'm double-checking before buying any Nepenthes plants. Have any of you had similar experiences? Let's share our plant shopping adventures!

Thanks for these new insights. I do have some Nepenthes on my windowsill, but non of the ones you mentioned. Hope I didn't go wrong. Started out with "the obvious" suspects and spread my wings with N. veitchii in the mix:
    N. x Briggsiana (lowii x ventricosa 'Red')
    N. 'Gaya' (khasiana x (ventricosa x maxima))
    N. veitchii x ventricosa BE-4500
    N. x 'Rebecca Soper' (gracillima 'Dark Red' x ventricosa)
    N. ramispina x vogelii BE-3957
    N. ventricosa BE-3772
    N. x Ventrata (alata x ventricosa)
    N. maxima Wavy x veitchii Bareo
    N. veitchii Candy x boschiana
    N. veitchii Candy x Candy
    N. Burkei BE-3254
    N. hamata x (veitchii x lowii) BE-4057
    N. veitchii ‘Bario Highland’ - grex 2 BE-4033
But these plants are all S and M size. So hope they survive winter and wil thrive next year.

Those are awesome hybrids!!! They will stay small for a bit but once they hit what I would call adolescence they will take off. I don’t see anything wrong with that selection!! All really cool plants that will be very rewarding!!!

Great video. I'm smarter than I was before I watched the video. I do have a question though... How do I get a bigger window to pit them in without buying a different house? 😄😄

I remember being scared of truncatas when I first started growing nepenthes since they tend to be more expensive and like lowland conditions. But now I have 3 and they're very easy to grow even though I love in NE and winters are tough here.

It is a harder one to find for sure. The only site I have seen sell it recently is Carnivero. Sometimes California Carnivores has it but Carnivero has had it most recently!

Truncata is such a great plant even for beginners. The only downside is how addicting they become😭.

Sorry, it’s not my intention to mislead. I was thinking to give some unique options outside of just like ventrata and Miranda. Which are both nice but I wanted to give some more unique options that people may not consider
