Awesome guide! My cloud is OB5 right now sadly. Once I get it to OB6 I think I should be able to take him down. Also, Aerith’s New Year weapon is probably better off hand now instead of Garnet Rod since that just released.
Yeah I was having issues surviving with the straight dps build. Then I was like why use crystal sword as a sub when I can second and it. I also forgot it was a quick casting heal, so perfect for a quick heal to help the others survive the stomp right after the Earthen Fury. Since Aerith Bahamut Rod takes about 2 seconds longer to cast.
@ i keep losing one character to his stomps just before the sigil phase. hopefully it’s just a matter of ATB management because Aerith is my main DPS so i don’t want to take megaflare off her
@ maybe record your run and see how much hp your missing to survive and maybe you can do some minor tweaks like branding , or making some materia that boost hp / pdef
You should only need Crystal sword for earth resist, I mean, I tried to enter with 250 pdef without earth resist with 16k hp and I survived the first attack which is the strongest,Great video as always, now I have to wait to overboost my new Cloud having found only the guaranteed copy in its banner😑

@@jrogaming4706i beat the fight! i ended up giving up on megaflare and going with 3 fast-charge limit breaks for animation cancelling. thanks again

Wondering if I could use Citric Wand instead on Aerith, my Garnet Rod is only 5* x/
This is a good alternative. You would lose the hp r ability but gain more extention and some matk on Aerith.
@jrogaming4706 That's what worries me, plus I think the ability pot helps the efficacy of her heals no? Or just Heal R abilities?
Ability pot only affects patk/matk
