Thank you for this! I've been using the blue daffodil gloves but had been wondering what the actual difference was. As I'm sure many others have too! Keep up the great work! This is my go to channel for damage stat vids now!
This was pretty interesting. Would you be able to do a video with these builds compared to a physical water tifa build? Like 5* phys water + feather + daffodil + bunny outfit for example. Not that it's remotely effective or anything.
Man cloud sitting there with his Locke sword looking at daffodil gloves like 😮. Locke sword still good of course for boosting his damage with those elements, but it’s nowhere close to how crazy daffodil gloves are. Solid damage comparison video as always. Starting with her eater setup is great since it’s the only setup with a dedicated option. It’s pretty much on par with that minus the mdef down that someone else can bring, and now also the best off hand option for all of her other elemental setups when targeting an elemental weakness. Bahamut fang still useful with the matk up and haste, but considering it’s only mid with one cast that’s only a 20% damage boost for her and up to 30% with the high tier buff, so weakness damage still outshines that even if you’re forced to pick between exploit weakness vs matk up. Bahamut could still be more useful in a situation where she isn’t the primary dps and no one else has a matk up option for the party, but considering she’s the strongest fire magic dps, only non limited water magic dps, and aerith just got her new weapon with party mag attack up, those situations where she isn’t primary magic dps will be pretty rare.
The cool thing about this is you don't have to use the water pot gloves as a buff with weak exploit instead if can be a passive weapon to max out her water boost kind've compensating for the loss of percentage. But idk math with this game for me is off by me doing it in my head
I believe 25% is the equivalent of a mid elemental buff and 40% a high elemental buff. That's why you're seeing the same results with the same stats. As you mentioned, the big difference here is the insane duration of Daffodil's cast.

It's quite absurd that with that ob6 weapon it's like they gave him 3 tiers of elemental pot for all elements, insane
That is a good way of looking at it
@jrogaming4706 That's what they did lol
