You can tell he had a bit of traditional training. It's like the food gets some patience and respect by being cut into perfect bits. You could take a picture of this at almost any point and just drop it right into a food blog or magazine. There is beauty in each step of the process.

The chef and dish are very good no doubt that, but I wanna give extra credit to the cameraman the way he used the close up zoom we can see every detail of chopping the veggies and every grain of rice can be seen very clearly. Now thats what I call videography....👏👏

As a Chinese, we don't ever use onion in fried rice. We call onion “洋葱” which literally translates to "foreign onion". It's not a Chinese ingredient. This is definitely a western way of cooking Chinese fried rice.
