The man flipped a prog rock sample, which is a sound he doesn’t really mess with and ended up with a product that came straight out the 90’s Boom Bap era!😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Changing things up helps inspiration. Changing your location is one of the cheapest ways to find inspiration vs buying new gear. We try to change up the same dungeon we write in when we might do better finding someplace different to write. Writing on vacation or when you're out of town changes your headspace. So maybe having a portable, battery powered production center might be the ticket.
Thanks accurate for all the hard work that goes into your videos. You're such a big inspiration for alot of people. Just got my MPC Live 2 yesterday and i'm blown away by all the features. Keep it up
Another great vid Accurate 👌 nice as usual. I happen to come across a useful cleaning tip for my mpc x and one that I thought was worth mentioning. I was searching for a solution to get the dust and debris off my pads (we know it doesn't take much to accumulate). I found that using a basic lint roller on my pads works out great. Just thought about it when I seen your new live 2. Keep up the superb content. I'm also glad to see your physical recovery going great as well.
love your music so much. what u do is exactly what i dreamed about half my life, but never really got it started. got some tools here, but don't use them often. glad i can watch people doin this at least, just never stop. i mean u can stop when im gone, but not before :P
amazing channel bro very inspiring stuff ....you got and sick ass beats my man keep this up ...im kinda fresh in so seeing your channel and methods have been a god send thank you
I just recently subscribed to your channel after ordering an MPC live to upgrade my current setup (both versions of the Electribe 2). I still haven't received my new Live and your videos have got me SO PUMPED about working on it. Thanks so much for the content you create, brother. 🙌🙌 Edit: fixed pluralization error.
Really enjoyed watching your workflow on this jam - honestly, I still find the design of the Live II a bit weird, but it does make me see how musical an MPC can get in the right hands.
The additional I.O., extra buttons, and accessible master volume knob... All welcome additions. That speaker though... Argh! They should have made it detachable at least. Anyway, killing it on this beat, Accurate. Looking good too. ;) Cheers!
@@thesurgingmass mpc one workflow is faster than the mpc live workflow, I can say that because I own it and I find the mpc one having better and faster workflow after the mpc x, and on top of that the mpc one is almost half of the price of the mpc live 2 and they both have exactly the same specs and do exactly the same thing, except the mpc 2 has a battery and a speaker "not studio monitors" as they call them, but just regular speakers which can blow overtime and you have to get it repaired which will cost you even more money , now it's on you to choose.
Hi Accurate Beats Have you heard of and/or use a VST called Soulful Chord Machine 2? I have been trying in vain to get this thing to play inside my MPC for a month to no avail. Any steering in the right direction would be greatly appreciated. Hell, I’d even send a donation your way if an actual working solution is found.
Just got the live 2 retro, looking for a good table to sample and scratch but don't want to spend more than 500. Has to be technics, I owned a pair of 1200 mk2s back in the early 2000s but they're all 600+. Any suggested places to make a purchase for a single 1200mk2 or mk3? Or other advice thank you. Dope beats
everytime I'm making a beat I wonder how would it sound on that game's loading screen, it's like my mental reference, I loved those games so much (3, 4 and Champion) the soundtracks were amazing
@@sebastiancartes9774 The music goes so well with the game. The commentary as well. Throw in the old classic boxers. A stone cold classic game. One of the best of all time! 🥊 🥊 👍
I feel so bad that I have the MPC LIVE 1 for years & now I also have the MPC live 2 and do not know how to use them yet. Why don't these things come with a tutorial dvd or intricate instruction manual?
Thanks for this video, you really are such a great inspiration. I really love the MPC beat making videos that you have been putting out through the years. Seeing you overcome your life challenges and still finding the motivation to share your creative music production process with the world has been such inspiring for me. No excuses! I plan on upgrading from my MPC studio to a live II provided I can get to 1000 subscribers. Any support will be appreciated. Best regards and keep banging accurately!
hey Accurate, I really enjoy your channel! I don't have an MPC yet and torn between the Live 2 and One. If you were choosing between the Live 2 or the One + ext battery which would you realistically throw in a backpack and work with on-the-go? It seems like a really tough call to make because you have built in battery and better placement for headphone jack and master volume on the MPC Live 2 but the One it's much smaller / lighter and the layout looks better for working where space is limited.
good question, I really like the size of the MPC One too, personally I think I would have gotten the MPC one just because I like square form factor (and it looks like the old MPCs 🙃)
@@ambrushadam yeah I agree. I think Akai have the perfect MPC which lies somewhere between the One and Live 2, with the old-school form factor of the One and hardware spec of the Live 2. Having thought about my decsion more, I think I'd go for the Live 2 mostly for the extra outputs for hardware fx resampling tasks and a proper 1/4" headphone jack. Additional benefits are master volume on the top, battery and ssd storage
Doesn't want to disturb people on balcony.
Proceeds to make literal fire on balcony.
You make it look easy, it's not fair. Boom Bap is not dead, it went under radar. :)
Super_Hik Boom bap never died, artists like Freddie Gibbs, Westside Gunn, Conway The Machine, and Benny the Butcher never stopped making it.
@@tlsarchive dont forget Earl Sweatshirt :))
ik its abstract boom bap but i'd say it still counts

The biggest change in the update has to be Pad Performance. The ability to use arps or note repeat with melodies is great.
