It is nice to see one of these survival type games, that at least so far, at least, does not involve zombies, aliens, magic, or monsters for once. Would like to see more of this definitely.
And its single player AND BALANCED for it
Played the infected in peaceful mode, since sometimes such things ruin the experience, but I guess, I will stick with medieval dynasty, at least the technology stuff wont go too much over board (I mean stranded in the woods and at some point you can craft solar panels? XD) Also a mangeable community and stuff, more , even survival games should at least have the possibility to gather some people to build a community (thats why mist survival will top at some point the genre with zombs)
magic could be cool, but i highly agree with u with the hate for zombies aliens etc..

If you want you could check out Medieval Engineers or Space Engineers.

Bergen, Norway. Every three days it changes from the rainy season into the next rainy season.
Canada! Every week or so it gets colder then colder, then colder until eventually, you get that cold ass Canadian winters. and then after said winter, it gets hotter and hotter until the hot ass Canadian summers you get -35 or 35 celsius and if its not that its either gross and wet because of melting snow or gross and wet because of how much rain we get in the fall

When you go to cook over the fire, hold r down for a sec... you should be able to cook them all at once instead of one meat at a time.
the stumps will go away when you build over them :)

You can also punch the stumps with fist to destroy them.

They really need to make the seasons longer one review on steam said you are constantly on the rush with a 3 day season change no time to enjoy what you build. But the rest looks really great so far.

i can get usually 2-3 rabbits a day in the rabbit trap. so remember to check every now and then and reset it

You should really revisit this game. There has been major updates both with quests, challaeges, game mechanics, etc. You can remove stumps and even have horses now. You can also select how many days a season is. Dynasty rep is much easier to get. And you can breed animals.

I guess you could call the look of both games "realistic".
I love medieval bugs
I noticed those are Maple trees. So I would think they would have a syrup collector you could put on the tree and make syrup. If they have that in the game. Would be a sweet treat 😁..

I'm liking the play through so far. I'm really interested on how far the game goes, as far as detail. The mushrooms are Morel mushrooms, a hard to find delicacy. They only grow for about a month, and have a nutty node. GameEdge, never eat a mushroom unless it has been properly identified, and as a precaution; always cook them. L.M.A.O.

Couple of questions regarding the rabbits. Do you keep the pelts for making clothes & do you need to bait the rabbit trap to get them to come to it? This looks like a really fun, relaxing game. I'll see how it progresses.

Just read in someone’s stream I’m watching of this game play if you build a farm field around the stumps they will go away.... not sure how true this is but worth a shot

You dont want to get too get to close to the water just in case you want to put a palacade (fence log) up.
Enjoyed this one GE, I definitely vote to see more! I like the idea of building a dynasty from the ground up, that should be interesting! Can't wait to see how big you build your house in this game! I suspect you're already drawing castle plans... 🏰

Looks way more polished than average survival game. I'm in.
The tree stump issue is very annoying as currently you need a spade and you cannot make one at this level! Still, it is in early access so hopefully this will be rectified in due course.

castellan isn't name its sort of leader of the village or usually Castle Keeper in modern age they take care of the castles for states make sure nothing stolen etc

In a day and time when money is scarce videos like this are becoming more necessary so you don’t make those expensive “ mistakes “ and buy a shioty game
Clarence Jones yeah, I know you mean. I’ve actually sworn of buying games from the so called triple A studios, except for occasional ones once the are on sale for less than $20 and games from CDPR who have earned my trust, and have been much happier for having done so.
But I’m also old enough to remember when companies developing games actually sought out gamers who also had experience in computer hardware and software who would volunteer to beta test their games to find bugs, so they could be fixed before the game was launched. And it wasn’t like what EA disingenuously have called beta tests, we’d often start fairly early in the development process, and would only have small sections available, sometimes the parts weren’t even tied together into a single program and you would have a simple launcher to give access to different chunks of the game that needed to be tested. I was a beta tester the three Warcraft games as well as several other titles, and I find it disgusting how many very basic bugs, similar to bugs we would almost immediately during the beta, and would be fixed almost immediately, are now regular found in full release titles.

strange, it wont let me harvest any reeds. no option to do so.
EDIT: ok so, the "reeds" arent the cattails sticking out of the water (the plants that look like they have a sausage stuck to them). reeds are the jagged looking things UNDER those.
