The number of different parts/upgraded heavy duty parts on the new hoss/stampede is crazy. I have an original stampede vxl and it would cost me over 600$cad to upgrade mine to be the same as this. One of the only upgrades that this new stampede doesn't come with is decent shocks. This is also the only stampede/hoss/Raptor r/rustler/slash that comes with a center diff stock. After 30 years they have almost got it right. If only it was the same price as the team associated mt10. The shock guards are a huge help in holding the stock shocks together.

Watching you convinced me to go head and get this I ha bought a Vxl rustler off Facebook used and sold it to a friend and got a new stampede love it so far
I got the bl2s for my 5yr old. She smashes this thing into steel poles at full speed, and just about everything else that would destroy most rc. Has yet to break. By far the best truck in our fleet.

ultimates are very cool. xrt sledge maxx definitely not my cup of tea. Whether they call it a horse or a stampede , Traxxas 10 scale monster trucks crush it, end of story
It would doubles with 4s. Just change the esc. The RPM arms are great for bashing but not for racing. Then tend to flex to much. Also after time the RPM arms will sag.
Rpm sucks imo there parts sag over time the traxxas hd arms are great the dont sag they have a better fitment if you like rpm though go for it i personally dont not hating though
You are correct in the sagging RPM A Arms and they break also. And I'm not dropping my R/C's out of helicopters just modest jumps but like you not hating on the products just passing along my experiences.
I bought this truck for my son. We run it on 3s battery at 50% training mode and it overheats before the battery is dead. Traxxas tech said 3s is only for speed runs not bashing. What a joke. It isn't even used bashing or speed runs

For a stock truck that air control aint bad. At all. Look at Traxxas, coming out to play.
