PSA has really been releasing a lot of great products lately, and they have come a long way from in the past as far as quality and new products that people want and can actually afford.
Have one, absolutely love it! It’s a beast and has never malfunctioned in 2 years of ownership

I have one. Ive put about 2k rounds through it with zero malfunctions. I put an alg trigger and a new all metal handguard. Very heavy but this thing rips and as a lefty the controls are great for me. Its currently my go to home defense/cqb style weapon. I know it'll always work. Its extremely accurate inside 100 yards. Furthermore, because the bolt is so short, it fires super fast. If you love bump firing this is for you. Also, mags are super plentiful and cheap. Highly recommend if weight is not an issue.
My next step is to sbr and get a suppressor.
Pin and weld a suppressor and skip the sbr fees. Most suppressors can be disassembled from the front. Make sure your suppressor is the correct length.

@gregorypatzelt6964 If you pin and weld the suppressor, it becomes part of the overall length of the gun, and you don't need a second tax stamp to sbr it.
Gold dot is designed for large expansion at lower velocities. I would recommend 135 critical Duty or 147 Winchester bonded. Something that normally gets smaller expansion will really do well with the extra velocity and not over expand and disintegrate.
I got mine with the SBA3 brace and in FDE. ALG trigger is bad ass, love mine
I got mine from a pawn shop for $750. Best purchase I've made in a LONG time as far as a gun goes. I love the thing.

What are the gun laws like in Poland? If you can get one of these, they must not be too terrible...
@@victorcoleman949 In Poland you can get a license to own most semi automatic guns for sporting except for 50cal, but to get it you need to be a member of a shooting club for a few months and then pass both a written and practical test.
TLDR: It's strict compared to the US but they can own most semi-auto guns
my only regret in my firearms collection career is buying the psa px9 and a binary trigger instead of their akv

I can’t see the demand for a PSA anything being in demand in the future. Like a 1999 Chevy S-10 4 cylinder, five speed with no A/C.

I have one of these. Used. 3 digit serial#. Broke the extractor bumping it in the first 2k. Replaced it and now it’s going on some where in the 5k range flawless. Just sucks to clean. Blow back is even worse supressed. It’s better to just brake clean it out and spray come air then clp. It’s not worth going after it with Q tips and all.
Put a Barking Spyder 2 muzzle device on it. They are not a silencer but, the perceived muzzle report is less because it focuses the blast forward. It also eliminates the side blast that a muzzle brake produces, and makes it more range friendly if anyone else it on the range with you. The Barking Spyder 2 is similar to the Russian Flaming Pig muzzle device. Both devices have an internal chamber and cone to eliminate muzzle flash, making shooting at night more friendly.
Have a couple thousand rounds through mine and love it. The only severe issue with this is every thousand rounds or so the firing pin snaps clean in half. I do dry fire quite a bit though.
Damn...now I have to start wondering...
Edit: try snap caps and see if that makes a difference, as now I'm really interested in this issue!
@@rudrashakti108 from what i can tell is i think the stock firing pin return spring may be too weak causing excessive force to be imparted on the pin over time but i may be completely wrong as i am not a gun smith lol. I dont use snap caps but i have a dozen other firearms that dont experience this issue. If u can figure it out plz lmk the fix!

Glad this popped up while looking at PCC’s and a AK is on my list to buy now I can take care of both options in one!
I love mine, only thing I can say bad about it is that one range session, I put about 500 rounds through it and on the last magazine, the 16 or so rounds came out with one trigger press. Hasn’t done it since, but it went full fun once.
Did the firing pin get stuck forward because of debris or something? I would check that out. If it could happen once, it can happen again.
That’s a feature not a bug. Lol.
I bought the version with the 8" rail, ALG trigger, and sa-2 brake last week (arrives today). Looking forward to playing with it as it will be my first pcc, but I think I'll probably use a linear comp to direct the noise downrange especially if using indoors.
PCCs are a great option for home defense and truck gun.

I have one in red with the cheese grater, super fun to shoot but I've had some accidental bump fires, 2/3 round unintended bursts, trigger reset is so short
In 2019 I bought an OD Green Moe version with SBA3 brace, $786.00. Just wait until the trigger breaks in. It gets better and better.

the akv is extremely underrated. i love mine. do it all mini AK that weighs as much as a actual AK.
I had the same perspective; more velocity should result in better energy. However, a lot of pistol ammunition is designed to expand (reliably) in a specific velocity range.
Guess I just have terrible luck, but I had to send mine back 3 times before they realized the bolt was out of spec and finally replaced it
Don’t feel bad my PSA dissipator has an a2 front sight that was mounted a 1/4 inch off to the left and pinned so i can never use the iron sights but it’s ok because i have a fabulous ar style scope mounted on it the looks and works awesome so i am still happy over all but yeah my luck tends to go that way 🪖👍🏻😎
psa has bad QC but thats why the guns are so cheap... get a psa and take it to a qualified gun smith for setup and you will have a great setup... its like buying a knife that you have to sharpen before use lol
I love mine. Get the binary trigger for it. It’s worth the money. Don’t use magpul mags, they done agree with it. PSA mags are best but the scorpion brand mags work well.
I have the AKP and love it. I thought about getting the AKV.

147 gr hp is better for a 10" barrel 115 and 124 gr will typically over expand in a longer barrel try it out 147 hp on the jugs again you will get alot more penetration.

I have one, I love it!
I own both the AKV and the CZ Scorpion. The scorpion is cheaper, and in my opinion, of much higher build quality. If you are looking for quality of build materials stick with the CZ (the gen3 scorpions just came out too, hopefully their reputation continues to precede them). If you HAVE to have an AK style, go with the AKV you won't be disappointed. Possibly the only true advantage of the AKV over the CZ, is that in full auto configuration, the AKV fires much faster. In semi I'm taking a CZ, in full auto Im going AKV (Interesting fact the mags between the two firearms are interchangeable. I find the AKV mags to be a little tight in the scorpion but still easily usable).
the psa akv is the GOAT if you upgrade it correctly.... imagine wasting money on a kp9 for red it likes

Get one with the ALG trigger and the answer is yes....omg yes. Just make sure to squeeze the trigger firmly....otherwise hold on for the ride. It's very controllable and repeatable.

Figured it out. Echo 93 sling adapter. Installs under the pistol grip. For the front sling mount there are some cable type options but I used a black 1/8” quick connect chain link to extend the mount a bit. I put lock tight on the threads of the quick connect to secure it. Good to go now. Have fun!!
