Thankyou for sharing a tour of your lovely garden so witchy love it. Welcome to the 60's club this month I'm 62 and like you say sometimes I feel lazy and haven't done much but then think well you're not as young as you were it's ok to go slower now love & hugs spiritual sister 💓
Oh, Wonderful a Mad Witch chat and garden tour. You have been missed - glad you are back and your enthusiasm for your garden is so sweet. Everything looks lush. Good year for cucumbers here too.
Hello Cynthia, (love that name, dont hear it enough) thank you for your kind words. I was so excited over my cucumbers, the children not so...why probably because its a real cucumber (eye roll) ah well. thank you for popping in and saying hi, lovely to see you xxx
So glad to have you back! Loving your sunflower ... so beautiful. And your garden is doing so well despite our strange weather. Look forward so much to hear more from you. Lots of love x
Hey Fran ! I am so pleased you dropped in, how are you lovely ? I am ready for the cool autumn and hopefully the winter will be less crazy than last year for me. Sending you autumnal vibes and sunflowers xxx
We've had a very similar Summer here in North East Scotland. Except we haven't had any heatwaves 😢. Only on a few days has it got above 20C, and then only just. If it weren't for the length of daylight and the greenery, it's felt more like October. I love Autumn, but would have enjoyed a summer before it 😜. I've been similarly abstaining from social media, although not completely. The world appears to be getting madder and darker by the day, so I'm keeping myself untainted by it. If I can't do the least to fix it, I'll not waste time or energy worrying about it. Autumn though, always feels like a time to stock up, take in the harvest and prepare for Winter. And I think that affects us on various levels. Good hearing from you again 🙂
@@DavidWilson-hd6iz lovely to see you at the cottage my friend...wise words I'm struggling with the darker world and I worry im not doing enough ...our beautiful mother and those creatures under her care ...its hard. Yay! So happy you’re back Giselle 🥰 your garden is lush and magical 🪄✨I love wise monkeys in the garden as well. Your bee 🐝 didn’t want to miss the opportunity to be in the video 🌻 That was perfect timing! 💕💖🦋
Your garden has such an amazing walkthrough of surprises. The lily flower is absolutely stunning! 😍 A photo of that in a frame would be lovely. You talk about your flowers like they're your children, your so proud of how they've grown.🙂 I instantly saw the 2 special deep velvet roses that you spoke about, as the husband and wife..your father and mother inlaw! The new buds are representing their children. 🌹🌹 😊 💕
Your excitement around your garden is so special. It's such a delight to hear from you although I'm glad you took lots of time out 🫶 Wishing you a wonderful September with all your celebrations 🍾 🪅🎊🥂💜 Here's to a future of all seasons that provide an array of nature's colour xxxx
hello Wren, Spring is rejuvenating, but I guess I need the longer dark winters to recoup from the busy summers. Hope you and the family are well. Thank you for popping by the cottage, lovely to see you as always x
I loved all of this Giselle, that little patch of Camomile was so lovely - I have always wanted to have a Camomile lawn 🥰 I love proper old roses that still have a lovely fragrance, a lot don’t now. So many of these plants and flowers remind me of my dad, so many that he used to grow including cucumbers 😍 perfect end with that beautiful bumble bee 🥰💖❤️
The bee was the piste de resistance 🌻🐝🌻🐝🌻😻 i can sit and watch Dragonflies zoom overhead and the Robin and Blackbird enchant me with their song...not to mention the Wren who wakes me with her song each sunny day 💐💐💐💐 old roses are the best 🌹 lively to see you xxx

I'm here for the Mixed Bag of Madwitching❤ My garden is mainly, trying to prevent my fig from growing into neighbours' space... But i sit under it when it's hot, which is pure bliss... Moving over now, from the hot sun to the shade! You English have the best Roses, reminds me i have to do a drive over to the rose gardens to visit, this is the time! Yay Dill
I have been wrestling bind weed off my Fig, its still not really hot enough here for me to get a bumper crop of figs, but even if I get one or two I feel blessed. June is the best time for roses here. This is there second bloom, but I find June is a perfect time especially for the older varieties that dont reflower later in the year. Thank you as always for popping by - its always a pleasure to see you x
That garden of yours!!! So lush and green despite the vagaries of the summer weather in England this year. In your garden videos I'm able to relive my working in our gardens in Cleveland, Ohio, when we had our house--lots and lots of hostas and fiddlehead ferns and trumpet vines in the shady corners and around our Norwegian Spruces with echinacea and yarrow and daisies galore in the sun. Ours now are all potted plants here in Scottsdale, Arizona, and it was a tough, extremely hot summer even for those we keep in the shade like aloe vera, Snake plant, and Ladyslipper plants. Hoping to get some ferns for the fall and winter and maybe into spring. Happy Birthday (welcome to the 60s!) and Happy Anniversary! Wishing you many many more years on both fronts! Thanks again for sharing all of this!
Lovely to see you ! I can't even begin to imagine how hot your summer must be, a few people I know live around that climate and I wonder why ? I am so fussy, not too hot, not too cold, but just enough sun in May to warm my bones. Honestly I wouldn't last too minutes in Arizona. Your garden in Ohio sounded beautiful. I am delighted to join your club! Im going to reinvent my 60 self and be the better bits of me haha. thank you so much for popping in and saying hi xxx
I totally intended to do a vr to your August reads video but got distracted and I literally read not a single book in August 🤦🏻♀️ Autumn is my favourite season but spring is a close second, then winter, then summer because I am not friends with excessive heat 😢 Love the garden! Now we’re coming towards spooky season I’m looking forward to the seasonal changes 🙌🏻🍂🎃👻🎃🍂
I know how easy it is to get distracted! haha I love Autumn too, but now Im coming to love all the seasons and understanding each one for their importance. autumn is gentle and preparing me to bed down and get through the list of books I didn't get through in Summer, Im such a slow reader! thank you so much for popping in and saying hi x
