- It still blows my mind when I think about it: Being able to go from a place of rock, ice and thin air down to lush, green meadows and civilization in a few minutes by using only your body and some nylon fabric.
Even more so when you get to enjoy this absolutely breathtaking flight along the Eiger Mittelegi ridge after having climbed the Eiger (Grindelwald, Switzerland) and jumped from 3800m.
Looking for an exclusive place to stay in Grindelwald right where I landed from this flight, with a view of the whole Mittelegi ridge? Check out the beautiful Hotel Glacier: www.hotel-glac...
For any inquiries including licensing of footage please get in touch with me through www.mathiaswys.... I have complete VR/360° 5.7K footage of this flight as well.

Camera: Sony FDR-X3000
Wingsuit: Phoenix-Fly Alpine 2
As a younger man I achieved a solo ascent of The Eiger but I take my hat off to you as even in my finest years I couldn’t do that. Respect
First: thank you for no music. So I can enjoy the sound of the wind. Second: really cool video.
Amazing line, wonderful place, awsome flight! ;)
Bravo!
Excellent! The most beautiful place in the world!
Amazing long flight that! It looked like you traveled miles!
Excellent line, buddy!
Spectacular! Where have you been Mathias?
Hi Lewis. Thank you! Well, since I work as a self-employed cyber security consultant, my focus in my free time is on doing stuff, rather than posting stuff. And a lot of the flights I did in the past years were for professional film productions, so I don't own the footage. But I'll try to share more of these unique personal moments:-)
How many kilometres did he cover? Does anybody know? Incredible to watch
Hi. Glad you enjoyed it. I covered roughly 6km of distance.
Amazing footage! Which Phoenix fly suit are you flying?
Hey Dennis. I'm flying a Phoenix-Fly Alpine 2 wingsuit.
Clint Eastwood Could have used that in The Eiger Sanction!
I knew some of the lads that did the stunt climbing on the movie and they loved working with Clint.
1:02!!!
1:03 looked very close. Brown pants close.
