I cannot stress how Great these feel to hoop in. Def in my top 3 along with MB.01 and Kyrie 7. Trust me. If you like those. These are a must. They have a great bounce too. It’s insane.

Dope video per usual! I actually got lucky and got a pair of the OGs int the Navy color way, and hooped in them a couple years ago. These were pretty much at the top of my rotation, but the soles ended up separating on both pairs. It's a strange shoe as far as how "heavy" it is, but how light it plays. And that Zoom is no joke. Nike needs to go back to beefier Zoom setups in my opinion haha.

My all time favorite lebrons! I managed to get my hands on the white and gold ones at an OUTLET a couple months ago. I wish it was the old black and crimson color way, but I do love the white and golds.

Tried these on just now and came to your video to confirm my suspicion. They have diverted from the traditional double stack zoom setup in the OG pairs, very sad to not have that crazy comfort bounce setup in these.
It'd be interesting to see you do a double lasted shoe like the: tmac 2 and 3, and1 rise mid, or the and1 chosen 1.

Dame Certified or Renew Elevate 3 or any better shoe under 100$? Which one is better for supporting the feet. I feel a lot of pain after playing basketball for like 2 hours so i need shoes which would lessen that pain. (sorry for bad english its not my main language)
OMG man you called it!!! He wore them in game 6 last night.
these were my favorite shoes to play in back in college. they lasted a solid 3 years before the airbag popped. the traction was also one of the best from the LeBron lines. to this day, the LeBron 2s is what i consider one of the most durable basketball shoes ever like the AJ XII. still waiting for the retro for the all black as that was the pair i had. however they're not worth the retail if you consider the other modern shoes you can buy for the money for indoor.
Yeah man, i had the black ones as well, with the dark red accents and the white, i believe, swoosh on the strap. Great memories. What i remember most is the general feel of the shoe. It felt like you were riding in an S-Class or Maybach. Not the fastest, certainly not the lightest, but you slipped into the shoe and it felt like you could crash with 120 mph and wouldnt feel a thing.

I have them and I feel like they’re a hard shoe to break in for someone who doesn’t weigh a lot
I hated these shoes back in the day. They don’t bend at all, not very comfortable and not grippy. Maybe they are great for taller, bigger, heavier people but in the small sizes it felt like a ski boot
Was really curious about the durability of the upper material but u ended up just do the test on the toe guard 😢😢😢

Just bought these and I was definitely wondering your thoughts regarding performance. Personally, they felt very stiff and clunky to me. Cushion was very firm and not plush at all, especially compared to my KD 14’s and AJ 37’s.
I have a pair of these and the 3s, which are built pretty similarly. The uppers and the Zoom units take some real breaking in before they really flex and bounce. Alot of that has to do with the Pebax carrier the Zoom bags are in, they're pretty stiff.

consider that lebrons shoes took a huge revamp this yea going from max cusion shoes to minimal cusion shoes that could cause some real problems

He was talkin like these shoes are from the 80s. A shoe from the early 2000s has very little tech difference from 2024. Other than new cushioning. Why would you be surprised the ventilation was decent
Wow. Cuts the shoe in half. Drills it. Bounce test. Etc. This is the most thourough, scientific reviews of shoes. Video production is thorough as well, so its interesting to watch. Somebody should partner with this dude to perfect better shoes with fine tuned tech for the actual needs of players. Great stuff!!
