There was always a shooting happening in orlando Florida and Jacksonville, Florida and Kissimmee Florida and Poinciana Florida and Miami. This guy is acting like Louisville is so bad. @skeletor325 Louisville is way rougher than Orlando Or any of them cities in Florida are you talking about Except for Jacksonville or Miami. It's on Par with them
You’re describing poverty , and poverty doesn’t always mean danger . I agree there are cautionary measures you have to take when visiting but it’s not all bad it’s actually a beautiful city .
Yes! Louisville born and raised! I was hoping you'd do another Louisville video. I hate how the crime rate has risen and how certain areas have gone downhill but I'm still proud of my city. I'm from the Hikes Point/St. Matthews area btw
You have to move further east to get away from the crime if you want to stay in Metro. If not Shelby Co and I hear Indiana. This city will get worse until we say out loud who is doing all this.

Louisville seemed nice in the summer. I know people that stay not to far from those projects, in the beginning of the video. It gets rough over there at night sometimes.
I lived in Portland area, walked all over that town back in 2012-2013. The worst thing that happened was a kid stole my phone and ran off over on market street near slevin i think.
I lived on Southside Drive in the 50s, right across from Auburndale Elementary before it burned down. It was great to pass the house I lived in even though I couldn't see it. Before that we lived on Brook Street downtown in the early 50s.
WOW thats awesome we also lived on southside, its gone to crap now. very unsafe, many murders over the years.. bikes would not last more than a week.. they would steal them. were in Florida now.. LOU KY got too bad to stay
My son and I attended every year Wonderfest on the South side near I-264. Near the airport and I believe an amusement park. I met many Sci-Fi stars then. The area was shady. One evening, I left my son and his girlfriend to go to a bar. I got smashed as people were buying me drinks. Some how made it back to the Hotel in one piece. East side is nice and where the money lives today..
Go to NYC or Chicago. Then go back to Louisville and tell us how bad it is. Don't get me wrong, I used to live in the Ville and I think it sucks hard. The city is just not a dangerous as you're saying.
That’s what I’m saying lol. Btw this guy lives in central Florida and doesn’t say as much bad things about the cities there. Let me tell you in central Florida u get killed just for no reason or shootings in supermarkets. Louisville isn’t that bad.
Born in 63 n raised in louisville , was poir so we lived all over 73/74 we landed in wilder park. Had to fight since i was 5 yrs old. Grew up near the train yards by u of l great times as a kid seen a few shootings. Been shot at a few times. Married in 92 ,wife came in one day said i am pregnant. Said the heck with that we are geting out of louisville even back then for some reason a lot of kids being taken from their yards. Mived to the country in indiana and have to go to louisville every month or so. Makes me side to drive by moms old house on garrett n see the shape of the old hood. Still i love this city.
Lived all over this City born n Smoke town Jackson street ..grew up Germantown and Highlands. Lived in Portland, Grand ave/36th, Rustic way and back in Fern Creek now. Love this City and the ppl, but ready for a new start.💔🖤❤💯💯💯
Not staying at a hotel near the airport basically applies to 90% of the cities out there, areas near the airport suck!! I think Las Vegas near the airport is fine since the airport is almost right next to the strip.Tampas airport is also near a decent area.
Some of these areas were super scary when I had to catch the tarc after night shift. I'd try to stay closer waiting with some of the younger boys and away from older men. But the young ones are the most unpredictable frfr
My friend Andrew Valdez got killed Monday in Clifton. We are from GA and I've never been to KY. How is Clifton? Or what neighborhoods are around there? For some reason it makes me feel better to just see where he was living, or walking around before it happened.
Carrie, this video you will see this area in my “Louisville best areas” its coming in the next day or two. I am gonna guess that area is getting BAD because in that same video we talked about a murder in butcher-town which is the next neighborhood over. So i will guess it’s turned really bad there. When that area starts in the video i am Not sure, but you can google map businesses as we pass and get an idea. If i can get it up tonight i will. Its right before butcher town in the video.
@@carriemccray7703 This guy doesn't live in Louisville anymore. He has no idea what he is talking about. Clifton, and Butchertown are great places. He tries to present Louisville as some kind of warzone, I live off of 7th street. As long as you aren't mixed up in the bad then you don't have anything to worry about. Clifton is nothing but rich people. The biggest gay club in Louisville resides in Butchertown along with many high end restaurants...
This guy doesn't need to be driving. Committed half a dozen traffic offenses in ten minutes. Crosses two lanes without signaling. Twice. Doesn't stop for red lights. Speeds. Bl;ows a stop sign. Sheesh. I'm more afraid of bad drivers than bad neighborhoods.
Your girl must feel real safe with you…. Crazy, this is so crazy. Look how we’re driving thru neighborhoods, so crazy. I’m white, born and raised here 33yrs. I been from the East end to the west end, no problems. Now, you need to know where you’re at, who you’re with, and what time it is, but that’s every city. You’re riding around scared at 10am on a Sunday. Bet them churches in the west end that you’re scared to be driving thru, are packed rn. That’s why there isn’t any traffic scary ass mf. Go put your anime on and set the timer on your tv and go to bed.
@@FLORIDAHOODVLOGS why? It’s a great city. I’m free to move wherever I want. I have a career that would allow me to transfer across the country. I prefer to live here, where I actually grew up past 4th grade and appreciate the history, the vibe, the aesthetics. My daughter is fortunate to go to a great school off Muhammad Ali. I’ve traveled from California to Maine. I’m fine here, no need to be sorry. Sorry if I hurt your feelings tough guy. Congratulations on surviving these tough streets. Keep running those red lights so you don’t sit too long in the danger zone. Don’t wanna get capped out here.
Louisville is my hometown. I grew up on the south end near Okolona. I left 20 years ago but go back on occasion to visit family. No offense but my quality of life has improved since I left and I could not see myself moving back. Ever. I do miss the affordable housing but thats just about it.
The commentary was extremely ignorant and had a lot of racist undertones which made it very hard to watch. He’s soooo terrified of black people when according to fbi crime statistics white people commit the most crimes, and let’s not forget history. But then again he’s Hispanic, so I’m not surprised he’s moronic as most of them are racist towards AAs and the Afro Latin community alike. Anyways, Louisville born and raised, it wasn’t the easiest but it’s not as bad as he makes it seem. Louisville isn’t even listed as one the top 15 most dangerous cities, and most of civilians there mind their business and want better for themselves. I’m glad my mother was courageous enough to move out of state when I was young, despite the pushback from the family doing so. My mother also went to school with Muhammad Ali’s cousin and had to beat him up because he had a crush on her and ruined her dress lol. I have a lot of beautiful childhood memories there, and he drove past many neighborhoods that my family has lived in. I feel more unsafe in Georgia where you can get your car jacked at a red light, but noooo “big bad Louisville and big bad black folk.” You’re obviously emotionally immature and have a lot of unhealed emotional trauma. You clutching your pearls whenever you seen someone black is highly offensive.

I stayed in Louisville for four years. It's real slow up there. First place I been to where big red drink is popular. Never knew people drunk those until I moved there.
I grew up in PRP in the early 80s when it was white middle-class. We drank Big Red and ate Grippos chips too! Good food knows no color! The corner store (Short Stop) had those three foot long XL freezer pops for a quarter too!
I stay outside the Watterson. I won’t go downtown unless necessary. Craig better fix this crime. I left Hellhole Philly for this. Louisville is two years away from that hell unless something changes.
I don't know about this being one of the most segregated places. I live in PRP area which is considered the west end, but I see all types of people not just one race.
Yeah man this place sucks over the past 20 years it has had a steady decline everyone over here got somethint going on with them ive lost literal children friends to the gun violence here. Your either sheltered or in danger, you cant even walk around anymore without that feeling

I've been to Louisville every year and still go. There are some rough areas down town, but nothing to bad. I lived in Covington Kentucky my entire life. It's right across from downtown Cincinnati, oh. That was more violent than Louisville any day.
I always wondered that. And the locals are always into sports. I think if louisville had a professional team the city today would be a better place and more people would have stayed.
Every city has its not so nice areas. When I lived in central Florida a few months ago this is nothing compared that. This guy also acts like this is Chicago or Los Angeles lol. I like Louisville a lot actually
you’re right Southern life city is good, but the people are funny acting that way on both sides they think differently and some of it aren’t good if you come down here get with like-minded people such as yourself
Iroquois you don't pronounce the "s" it's like saying Illinois, the "s" is silent. I also find it odd how one minute you say and area was crap when you were there then the next line you say the exact same area used to be so nice. Some contradiction going on. Also spaghetti junction is downtown, not where you were late in the video

Nothing about this video screams danger 😂 seems like ppl in their house minding their business
Exactly most people just minding there own business ❤Louisville ain’t that bad.
When I lived in central Florida a few months ago the crime rate was insane. There was always a shooting happening in orlando Florida and Jacksonville, Florida and Kissimmee Florida and Poinciana Florida and Miami. This guy is acting like Louisville is so bad. Louisville is nothing compared to Florida cities. Every city had not so great areas but compared to Florida and other cities Louisville is very nice and chill. Keep ur head down and mouth shutband u should be all good.
@skeletor325 Louisville is way rougher than Orlando Or any of them cities in Florida are you talking about Except for Jacksonville or Miami. It's on Par with them
I was in West Louisville and there was a T-Mobile selling Newports
WTF😂😂
You’re describing poverty , and poverty doesn’t always mean danger . I agree there are cautionary measures you have to take when visiting but it’s not all bad it’s actually a beautiful city .
Facts. Louisville isn’t Chicago or Los Angeles California lol

Yes! Louisville born and raised! I was hoping you'd do another Louisville video. I hate how the crime rate has risen and how certain areas have gone downhill but I'm still proud of my city. I'm from the Hikes Point/St. Matthews area btw
Hopefully we can see that area i hope its as pretty as it used to be 😊 we could only DREAM about living there growing up in West or South Louisville
We chosen left us up
We just moved to Middletown. I like both our areas a lot.
You have to move further east to get away from the crime if you want to stay in Metro. If not Shelby Co and I hear Indiana. This city will get worse until we say out loud who is doing all this.

The East end is kind of rough too💯

Louisville seemed nice in the summer. I know people that stay not to far from those projects, in the beginning of the video. It gets rough over there at night sometimes.
Louisville police has lost all respect for them people. Not a place to be. Crime is not fazed by anyone or anything

I appreciate that comment as I'm married to a 42 year teacher.

Now you will get murdered in about 30 min if you’re white, and the train tracks are a huge homeless encampment. Somehow Raytheon stayed there.
I live on South 30th Street and went to Southwick Elementary. It will always be home to me even though I've been gone for years.
Southside might look calm.. but don’t trust it
Go to NYC or Chicago. Then go back to Louisville and tell us how bad it is. Don't get me wrong, I used to live in the Ville and I think it sucks hard. The city is just not a dangerous as you're saying.
I love louisville, but yea it gets pretty bad . NYC and Chicago are way bigger, if Louisville was their size then the crime rate would be insane.
That’s what I’m saying lol. Btw this guy lives in central Florida and doesn’t say as much bad things about the cities there. Let me tell you in central Florida u get killed just for no reason or shootings in supermarkets. Louisville isn’t that bad.

ATL and Louisville.. have taught me thats not where you wanna be. Lots of safety concerns.

Some of these areas were super scary when I had to catch the tarc after night shift. I'd try to stay closer waiting with some of the younger boys and away from older men. But the young ones are the most unpredictable frfr
Why the heck I see myself and my car on the video
My friend Andrew Valdez got killed Monday in Clifton. We are from GA and I've never been to KY. How is Clifton? Or what neighborhoods are around there? For some reason it makes me feel better to just see where he was living, or walking around before it happened.
Carrie, this video you will see this area in my “Louisville best areas” its coming in the next day or two. I am gonna guess that area is getting BAD because in that same video we talked about a murder in butcher-town which is the next neighborhood over. So i will guess it’s turned really bad there. Living in Louisville is like living in a prison where anything you do makes you a target. Miserable
Your girl must feel real safe with you…. Crazy, this is so crazy. Look how we’re driving thru neighborhoods, so crazy. I’m white, born and raised here 33yrs. Sorry to hear you lived your whole life in Louisville
Okalona was bad even than. We used to go to the walmart there i think it was as a kid
57:40 those apartments were also the first place I lived when my family first moved to Louisville. It’s sad to see how bad it is in the video.
