8-Bit Theater: The RPG is based on the early 2000s sprite webcomic by Brian Clevinger (who also is doing the RPG) who is also the writer of the comic Atomic Robo, which Scott Wegener draws. If you haven't read 8BT then you definitely should; it's probably partially responsible for my interest in TTRPGs.

I wish that most of these weren't toolkits to be used for Mork Borg or DnD. I love zines like MIRU and Nortourious cuz I don't need a GM.
You should go look through zinequest then. There are lots of solo games running on there right now.
