- Swollen gums are never normal or healthy. Swollen or inflamed gums often bleed and appear bright red in color due to an increased blood flow to the affected site. If you see red, puffy gums when you inspect your mouth, do not assume they will get better on their own. The name for inflammation of the gum tissues is gingivitis. When this inflammation becomes severe, we call it periodontal disease.

How tonprevent my gums disease?
Since 2019 when a dentist broke my top teeth I could never get if fixed and now I just feel so ugly and my gums are beyond inflamed due to not having them fixed. I'm going to the ER dentist in the morning. I've paid so much money just to get nowhere.
How to cure this type of illness. I went to the dentist and they refused to treat me, instead he only tell me to regularly floss! Like I wasn't already doing that and it didn't work. Can some please tell what is the name of the treatment for this condition :( I am in a very bad physiology state. Help
Gingivitis is caused by not flossing, however there are other factors. Pregnancy Induced gingivitis, puberty Induced gingivitis, even certain medications can cause gingival inflammation. Do any of those apply to you?
