I outline 3 steps in the video to help you treat gum disease and how you can keep yours healthy. I do recommend visiting your dentist for regular hygiene check up so things doesnt get out of hand if you are having problems. I hope this simple video help you or someone you might know.

❤Thank you for the excellent tips!
Thank you verry much doc ❤
No problem, it’s the basics. Some problems may require more than these tips so make sure you consult with your dentist. Take care!
Tnx Doc
Excellent 👍
Thank you! Cheers!
Weldon. God bless you.
Thank you
1. floss 2. tongue scrape 3. water floss
Exactly! It’s the basics but it works!
I brush 3x ... floss at night + waterpik + xylitol mints ... oil pulling and occasional salt water rinse and feel it’s pointless and nothing works ... just under 4 months since a cleaning and I feel one of my tooth’s the gum under it looks really weird ... bought a gum toothpaste but don’t see any help
Only thing I can think of causing these problems is a dry mouth due to deviated septum which I been waiting for surgery for 19 months and been complaining to dr’s for 20 years somethings off with my nose only to be told It’s fine ( anyone think they have nose issues demand to see an expert instead of regular doctor, would have saved me 20 yrs and mouth issues(got tmj) ) ... anyways
Really can’t see what else I can do ... I’ll ask my dr if there’s an acidity exam I can try but sometimes doing the basics does nothing to help . Very frustrating
Look up this website:
Dailydentalcares.com
I’m not associated with them or have any financial affiliation. The Dr who made it is a microbiologist. Made it bc her mom who was in a retirement home developed periodontal disease and rampant decay. Prior to that her mom had no dental issues. The lozenges is designed to help reduce acidity in the mouth after eating and prevents the harmful bacteria from getting to the sugar and carbs we eat. It is also great for dry mouth.
In your case, it’s hard to guide you properly without knowing the dental history. But have you had an Oral DNA test done? It’s a saliva sample that looks for high risk bacteria in our mouth. Also, have you ever had anyone treat you with laser therapy to kill the bacteria?
If anything give those lozenges a try. They are safe and I use it daily and I also give it to my 3 yr old daughter who loves her sugar. Keep me updated, take care!
@@advancedhealthdentistry thanks ... never heard of those lozenges , been using xylitol mints after meals For saliva ... I’ve never done the DNA test or the laser , never heard of them . Don’t know if they have those in Canada but I’ll ask .... I assume the DNA test can be done with your doctor?
Thanks for the info I’ll check the site
So from the same Dr who created the lozenges, with her microbiology background, their studies show that certain bacteria develop resistance to xylitol over time. I know it’s touted as helping with oral bacteria but they do develop resistance over time. The lozenge primary job it to prevent the uptake/consumption of carbs/sugars by the bacteria.
As far as the test. Look up, oraldna.com. Your dentist just takes a saliva sample from you and it is sent off to the lab for testing. When you get the results back it shows the bacteria that is the highest risk and have recommendation
There are several companies out there that test bacteria in the mouth, this just happens to be what we use in my office. As far as getting this test in Canada, I’m sure there are some that do but like in the US, not all will test. You will have to call or do research, their website may have the info.
Lastly, laser therapy is very common use in the US for treating periodontal therapy. Do a Google search for this: ‘Laser in Periodontal treatment research’
That should give you an understanding of laser in dentistry. There many different lasers in the market so do your research on them and who does them. In the US it is heavily regulated so for dental use they have to pass specific tests otherwise the laser cannot be used.
I hope this helps!
